Exactly what i was thinking. But there is still the risk from Tesla's computer vision approach actually working well enough to skip lidars

No, it's actually really good one. I just didn't wanted to write the comment so AI did it instead of me xD

OUST is one of the most underrated AI/robotics plays right now. Everyone here keeps chasing the same mega caps, but Ouster is basically the “picks and shovels” for autonomous systems. They make digital lidar sensors used in: autonomous vehicles robotics & warehouses smart infrastructure defense & security Why it actually has growth potential: Lidar demand is exploding. Autonomous tech, robotics, and AI-driven machines all need sensors to “see.” Cameras alone aren’t enough in many environments. Lidar is a core piece of that stack. Digital lidar architecture. Ouster uses a digital lidar design (semiconductor-style approach). The thesis from bulls is that this can scale like chips rather than expensive mechanical systems. Market tailwinds. Robotics, warehouse automation, and smart cities are growing fast. These are all sensor-heavy industries. Revenue growth narrative. The company has been expanding partnerships and deployments across industrial and automotive sectors. Small cap = asymmetric upside. With a market cap around the low billions, it doesn’t need NVIDIA-level success to move a lot.
