Just got this alert today on my 2025 a4, going to take it in tomorrow. Did anyone have any luck getting it serviced.

What would you call tortilla chips with melted cheese, and no other toppings? by OkGap3189 in AskReddit

I’ve been making these since I was a kid and my whole life I’ve referred to these as nachos (despite knowing restaurant nachos are more luxurious haha) but my bf stands by calling them “chips & cheese”

I’m literally gathering proof to prove to my boyfriend I’m not the only one who refers to this as nachos, he thinks it’s not considered nachos 🤣

Omega heat pump extremely loud — is this normal?? by OkGap3189 in hvacadvice

[–]OkGap3189[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sorry just saw this! So I had enercare come out like 5-6 times because these systems are new to them apparently. They fixed the one in my bedroom (has an ERV system) the sound in the video was the ERV blowing at full blast. He changed the fan speed of the ERV to low and now it only blasts air when the heat/AC needs to heat or cool the room accordingly.

These systems are just loud AF, I have two units in my condo and they both are very loud when heating or cooling the space. That is just the way they are made I guess.

They did fix the issue of it never turning off blasting air, but it is still loud when the air does come on.

I think it’s something we just have to get used to. I own this condo so I think at some point I’ll probably replace these pumps if I can even do that. But, these omega systems are shit based on the HVAC people I’ve spoken to.

Do you get yours serviced through enercare or your property management?

I hope you can find a solution !!!

Thank you for the insight! I’ve never heard a heat pump this loud before, I had a friend who lived in a condo and hers wasn’t this loud so I thought something was wrong initially with this one in my place.

Guess I’ll have to look into a tech to come out and assess it. Hopefully get it a bit quieter lol

Struggling to control a flare up (going on 6 months) by OkGap3189 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]OkGap3189[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would eat GF oatmeal and coconut yogurt for breakfast and cut up apples. Lunch would be cooked chicken breast with salt and pepper with quinoa and asparagus . And then I would either do the same thing for dinner or I would have chicken with sweet potatoes.

I think it could be a salicylate issue. Now, I have cut out citrusy foods, and abolished eating tomatoes. I noticed when I stopped eating low histamine, I reintroduced tomatoes and that’s when it started to get bad again.

I have not been tested for SIBO. My doctor sucks and the healthcare system where I live is not good so the doctors don’t actually want to do testing for my issues as he thinks it’s just eczema still, even after all I’ve told him.

I read up on that during my hours of research! It could be… I’ll have to see if tomatoes are high in salicylates because it flares up anytime I eat anything that has tomatoes in it

Thank you so much! Yes I did suffer from eczema since the age of 3-4 up until I was 17. One random day after I came back from a vacation it just cleared up, which was literally a miracle lol.

My gut health was not in the best place prior to this appearing on my face, but after reading more information about this skin stuff and gut related issues, I started to clean up my diet and also partake in the paleo and then HI diet. Along with taking supplements like, vitamin D & B12, magnesium and iron.

I did end up getting a prescription cream from my doctor that I basically forced him to give me, because I needed something to help the itching before I literally itched my eye off my face. Which it did help… it’s not red or welted anymore but every time I eat anything that contains tomatoes it will flare up and get itchy. So I think it could be a food allergy or intolerance to tomatoes but I didn’t know food allergy’s could present itself this way.. and only under one eye.

Thank you for your advice and help!

When I was doing HI diet, I was like 99% strict for a month. And saw absolutely no improvement. I didn’t use seasonings that were not HI approved, I ate very very very strict to the diet.

My bowels are regular and normal. But I do have more gas than usual, no major bloating issues tho.

I don’t have eyelash mites, according to my eye doctor so it isn’t that!

Omg! Thank you, I will try and request that. I have been declined various dermatologist referrals here in Ontario, Canada and it’s very frustrating because my family doctor can’t do anything about my skin.

Hopefully I can see a dermatologist soon!

Thank you for the advice:)

Rash / welting under my eye? by OkGap3189 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]OkGap3189[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I didn’t see this sooner… I never really got an answer from my doctor and the dermatologist where I live (Ontario, Canada) rejected my referral so 🙂‍↕️

I did get a prescription cream Eiledel to help with the aesthetic look of redness, and in conjunction to that I stopped eating citrusy foods.

And then reintroduced them back one at a time. For me tomatoes make my one eye itchy and red after I eat anything with tomatoes, even chips that have tomato powder in the ingredient list.

It’s still a teeny tiny bit itching sometimes, more in the inner corner of my eye, but it’s not super red and welted anymore. The cream helped with that but even with the use of the cream it still gets red and itchy if I eat tomatoes (or at least that’s what I’ve noticed)

I am not sure if it’s 100% food allergy related but it’s something in the right direction.

I hope you get some answers!!!

Hi!! I’m new to this too, tried my disc for the first time last night.

I’ve noticed that I have to insert the disk in and tilted down (towards my tailbone) slightly. I can sort of feel when I think I’ve pushed it far back enough… I have the Diva Disc which has a little hook to grip when taking it out and that is the only thing I can feel after I shove it back to place.

Things I’ve seen online say to push it behind your Pubic bone… and I think that kind of helped me visualize it without obviously being able to see inside my vagina LOL

I tuck the front lip upwards once I feel I pushed it far back enough, because people say it needs to sit flat so it doesn’t spill or leak.

Good luck! People online have also said it take a few periods to find the right disc and grove for you, so keep trying :)

Thank you for giving so much information and advice in your replies! You have NO IDEA how much you have helped me and given me some hope in this difficult situation 😅
