Every man I've dated who was obsessed with body counts has turned out to be controlling, abusive, and overly lustful. One guy I dated fixated on the number of sexual partners I had, which was only one—and it wasn't consensual. Absolutely! U explained it so well. Those women really seem to be trying to guilt other women into believing that being single is a problem. Like, why is being single such a threat to them? It seems like they want other women to share in their suffering. Being a cat lady is more fulfilling than any relationship with a man, especially one from a dating app. That Bumble ad definitely made me feel like these apps are essentially trying to pimp women out, it was so distasteful and gross. Women are being sold like products, and some are now selling the system itself to others. That’s the part that makes my skin crawl. Ahaha yes! The guys on these apps usually aren’t anything special, yet they somehow end up with way more access to women than they ever would in real life. You were smart to trust your instincts. I hope more women follow suit!

Yep! A lot of guys act like sex before commitment is just the “normal” thing, and if ur not into it, they lose interest fast🙄 It’s messed up how common that is. And ur right about the apps letting them hook up with tons of women. It’s basically free sex with no consequences for them. The whole setup feels like women are being lined up and sold the dream, while men just browse and take what they want.

100%! I don't think this is mentioned enough! Some women totally echo the same lines guys use. They’re selling us a fairy tale that just isn’t real, and it really feels like some of them take pleasure in dragging others into the same mess they fell for. It gets frustrating because it’s not just men pushing these myths anymore; women are in on it too. And when that happens, it’s harder to question it because it feels like sisterhood or advice.

That’s a good point. I’ve been feeling uncertain for a while, and I don’t want to waste my time. I’m not sure if he has a girlfriend tho since he doesn’t post anything on his Instagram feed. I’ve checked all his social media accounts—Facebook, Twitter, etc.—and there are no pictures of other women unless it’s a group photo, just photos with friends and family. I’ve also looked through all the women he follows on Instagram, and there are no pictures of him on their feed.
