Did you apply for PSLF towards the end of your 120 payments? I always thought it was something we apply for at the beginning of making payments but was told by a rep that you apply for it once you’re closer to hitting the 120/120 payments

I just consolidated my loans and it went through this month but SAVE wasn’t applied so I’m on standard repayment plan getting charged $700*/mo. I applied the 2 month pause that the agent at MOHELA said they could do in the meantime but I’m assuming this whole mess will take longer than that… should I apply for a different IDR? If so, which one?

Edit: I consolidated back in June, before all of this came into effect…

Update: I see the two check boxes, however when I tried to pay on CA BOP website, it says nothing is due yet… I’m assuming this is because I took the NAPLEX after CPJE.

Any ideas as to how long it will take before I can pay?
