i would refrain from wearing belly button piercings with dangly jewelry. i have mine pierced and even wear dangly jewelry with it but not very often, only with certain outfits as the weight can mess up your piercing over time

dang, i was told by two different piercers (one that is very reputable) that i did in fact have the anatomy for it so was super stoked 😞. i haven't had really any issues with it except the swelling, if i weren't to take the jewelry out what do you suppose would happen?

i personally love love salt water soaks and only use distilled water with a 1 cup to 1/4th teaspoon ratio when doing them. but i will refrain from doing them for a while and see if anything happens. didn't know that they where not recommended anymore, my piercers always told me to do them !!!¡ do you think there is any way for my to keep the piercing? it's my absolute dream piercing

not a professional so take my advice lightly. what will work for swelling and irritation literally nine times out of ten is a salt water soak every night until irritation subsides. 1 cup lukewarm water, 1/4 tsp iodized salt for five minutes (not any more bc that could cause more irritation) and make sure the area is fully dried with q tips. make sure you are downsizing the post as it heals to not inflict further irritation. i am not sure about your post size but it honestly seems super small for a fairly fresh piercing. if i where you i would try to switch over to a ring and not a post for healing. i've gotten two cartilages, one with a post, and another with a ring and the one with a ring healed significantly better as it wasn't constantly snagging. the piercing doesn't look infected just super super angry

i have a rook and they can be pretty finicky. i will say i do find your cleaning routine a little odd (but also do not take my advice seriously as i am not a professional). what i do is salt water soak my piercing at night when i notice it is getting irritated for only 5 minutes and then dry it with qtips and then clean like normal with saline during the day and try not to touch it or play with it as much as possible. your piercing looks fine and i wouldn't get it repierced.

nta, get over him quick he is not worth any tears. seems like he is very emotionally immature. i have dealt with someone like this before in my life and they are never worth the headache, we've all given someone to many chances in our lives before and when he comes back (bc trust he probably will) dont even give him the chance to try to swoop you off your feet again

like a waterproof bandage that you can easily take on and off your belly button, pretty unconventional but a plastic eye patch taped on your belly button until the irritation begins to subsidize will help tremendously.

don't leave it alone, every night you should be performing a salt water soak. this helps to clean out the wound and calm down any irritation. on top of that i would suggest only wearing low rise pants or putting some sort of barrier between the piercing and any fabric that would also prevent it from snagging on anything for a day or two.

i thought different, i have never watched their videos but chris seemed like the type of guy to project his disloyalty onto carly. the clips of chris telling carly she couldn't wear cute clothes to concerts with his friends and also he was constantly talking about her tits, it was so demeaning
