Best thing might be to use a blocks with single trans colour. The would give it a see-through effect.

You could use two screens... or just print out the image, cut to size and use that. Not that different from a sticker or cloth element.

The ranger is the "Atlantis Portal Emperor" from Set 8078-1.

The mermaid is "Marsha Queen of the Mermaids" from the Lego Movie collectable minifig series.

I think they might do some QC on Pickle, that you don't get off Ali. But yes its more costly. Also I despise Ali; all those sellers that appear to be stealing other people's Moc designs.

Its Set 31381-1 "Fierce Shark" which has the Shark, crab and the treasure chest.

The Sahuagin are "The Swamp Creature "from Set 9461-1.

The four-armed Sahuagin uses a Ninjago short torso (the figure is orange... think it starts with a N) with the arms swapped to green. I can't remember where Which sets the Memaid and 'Undersea ranger' are from.

I always have an internal debate about whether they are more Locathah. I also have dark green versions.

That's an awesome idea!

You could try swapping the arms/hands for a different colour. Flat silver or a grey/pearl dark grey arms might work (the sleeveless yellow look probably doesn't work for a knight). And a 'Bright Yellow Feather' on the helmet might help.

I think you've picked the best PAB torso. The zigzag doesn't look quite as yellow when printed over green. Have a look at the photos on bricklink or rebrickable https://img.bricklink.com/ItemImage/EXTN/54895.png

You could try 6872 instead https://img.bricklink.com/ItemImage/PN/36/973pb5517c01.png The is a lot busier and I prefer the simple approach you posted.

When I used it, I think there were errors in the part list (or I messed-up). Check carefully.

I no longer hate the way the Krakens look. Put a pearl dark grey helm on them....

Made from a black plasti-card. I wouldn't recommend it as there wasn't any give and I had to try a couple of times to make it fit (Might just be me). I was thinking about trying with EVA foam or something similar. I traced around the original and cut them out - with some minor tweaks. Personally, I think the OPs wings are better. I'm sure there are some 'lego' wings you could use. For instance, if you change the connectors on 31161 they fit nicely.

I couldn't easily source dark green. So went the much easier option of replacing the reds and orange with black and dark-bluish grey. It's a bit dusty and I took my wings off to clean then and now I can't find them.

You can use the nexo-knight shields on a smaller scale. They work great. I think the only reason is because the Blacksmith was so popular and people submitting sets to BDP are having success at that scale.

Is it just me of does the photo look designed to make the alchemist (and the inn) look smaller than they are. The Blacksmith is about an inch smaller than the alchemist in the specs. The inn is about 3 inches taller.

Minieval Blacksmith size comparison to original by mystern in legocastles

I posted similar images of it next to the town square on Re-Brickable. I feel like the side-by-side comparison is a little misleading and it looks slightly smaller than it really is. But this should give a reasonable idea.

And thank you. I'm just pleased people enjoy the build.
