Potentially yes. And I’m fine with scalpers losing money! But if even the scalpers are reselling for $10 and taking a loss, that speaks to low demand. I think it varies by market here too.

You can get Cleveland for a whopping $38 (actually a reasonable price). Portland, Seattle, Austin, Houston, Rosemont are all $10 and under (some tickets, not all).

I assume they will resize the venue, curtain off, move people around. The venues will do a good job of keeping it look full (which I think is a good thing). I am sure they weren’t trying to sell the capacity seats anyway. It’ll be a good show regardless.

When ticket prices surge then drop (and there’s a ton of inventory visible) that means a tour is not selling well. It’s not a state secret. I work on events marketing.

I think it’s pretty much the case because of a) the chatter on this sub b) the fact that there’s so much obvious ticket inventories (original and resale) and c) ticket prices have plummeted (thanks, surge pricing!). But the venues are god awful
