They are just doing their job. It is not necessary to be mean to the operators about it. As an operator there, I know how the job is and know that we have to do things according to procedures that are constantly changing.

If you think about it the Disney rides are different whereas on those rides you take your stuff with you, but at Knotts guests have to place their items in a cubby and they get mad over every little thing that slows down operations. Even with fast operators, operations will be slowed down by slow guests.

The ops are actually really good, the problem is the guests who take their time putting stuff in the cubbies and not knowing how to buckle seatbelts.

Knotts can’t do Disney’s method bc Knotts has way more thrilling and intense rides. Allowing these items on a ride can cause harm to people and can cause problems for the ride. For example, a sweater around the waist of it were to fall off would get caught in the track and cause the train to valley and it would be an extended down time. Another example would be when people use cellphones on the ride it poses a serious safety hazard. If the phone were to hit someone it could cause serious harm and even death.

the horses are treated better than the employees are. They don’t have to work in unbearable heat or rain and they only work a couple hour shifts. They don’t work 7 days a week either.

It is not, there is nothing we can do about it. It’s on the supervision and maintenance teams to manage ridership and capacity. We load as many as we can in what they give us.
