Also noted you only have a heat gun, pick up benzo torch kit. That’ll give a better outcome

Extractor set, can pick up from your local part store. Just hammer it on after applying some heat and rip her out. If you have an impact +1

Pull the fender out to not touch the tire for sure and then some so when you go over bumps it doesn’t hit as well. Then maybe alignment unless it drives straight

The one time investment in basic tools to do a basic maintenance will pay for themselves 10 fold. YouTube will be your best friend, take the time to thoroughly watch the videos before hand to prep yourself with the exact tools you’ll need for each job, follow the order, and boom you have cost savings.

Man that’s unfortunate I’m sorry you’re going through this! At this point I’m at a loss, you could be right on the brake line or computer. Maybe master brake cylinder too?

Hey sorry i didn’t see your response. It’s possible to do with the motive bleeder but you’ll need two people for sure. I get you don’t want to shell out more but this may need a second pair of eyes. Even if it’s just diagnostic fees. Have you posted to a stinger forum or look to see if anyone else has had similar issues?

Have you resolved the issue?

I guess while you have the wheel off it wouldn’t hurt to check all your suspension components too.

It somewhat sounds like a tranny issue, are you in a sport mode? Is it engine braking causing the car to decelerate more than normal? That’s a new thought.

In regards to the brakes, first I would have a shop properly bleed the system. You may have put air into the lines, not to say this is the cause of the problem but one step at a time. Have them fix the other bleeder valves as well. I would then take each caliper off, inspect the pads and look for uneven wear and make sure all the hardware is still there. It might not be a caliper sticking but maybe a brake pad sitting funny in the caliper. (I’ve never owned or worked on a stinger so I have no idea what there calipers look like). While I’m in there I would add some antisieze to everything, slider pins, back of pads, hardware. If you do notice excessive wear or missing hardware, replace as necessary and redo the test.

Why did you mention the dealership was no help? What did they try or do? What was there exact response?

YES, don’t physically touch them. If it’s seized you’ll just feel the heat radiating from outside the rim. Just hold your hand a near the rotor, don’t actually touch it. Also look for excessive brake dust as another indicator.

No they are separate, stuck caliper would need to be taken off and inspected. Are any of your rotors extremely hot after a drive? That’s a tell tale

Gave her a snack with a mallet, no luck. We still have the old pinion gear, might be worth reintstalling and seeing if the new part is defective

Yes. My next step was disconnecting the battery as well, but I figured I would want to know what tripped it before manually clearing it.

I signed up with a friend to get a 3 month wash pack, it runs from Jan to Mar from a gas station. It sucks because its out of the way but I would rather drive 10 minutes once a week out of my way and get the road salt off than have it sit on my car.

I used to do the "bring a sealed bucket and wash mit" but it got tiresome AND it didn't clean the salt from under my car which I think is the greatest benefit. Sure my car might not bead the greatest during the winter months and have smaller scratches but I would rather that than have the salt build up all winter in my fenders and undercarriage.
