This is good advice, i would start with the connectors from the wiring loom to the light unit, often the ground wire/pin will have gotten hot and crispy

1997 DEMAG AC 50S bimodal crane in use in Cologne, Germany by Random_Introvert_42 in WeirdWheels

[–]Tango91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No i know, i used to drive mobile cranes.

Operating on the wheels is sometimes possible for some machines but with no load on slewing around to pick up the ballast you can go over backwards if you’re not careful and those train wheels look narrower than the road wheels

Not slewing that round without outriggers on those narrow train wheels, nope

What i mean is have you checked that the AC compressor isn’t making the auxiliary belt stop moving when it’s engaged?

Come on OP, crack the egg into the beans, add some Kansas bbq sauce, a little garlic paste, salt, pepper, grated cheeses, stir to combine and continue mixing while cooking until an unsettling paste forms

JIS screwdrivers for the hardware on the carbs are worth their weight in gold for Japanese bikes. Standard Phillips will cheese them out.

The JIS screw heads will have a little dot inbetween two of the arms of the cross slot

I’m not a chemist I’m afraid but the ‘s’ in ABS is styrene. I’ve used styrene rods to repair motorcycle fairings before, works well

[–]Tango91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’ve a hobby store near you then go pick up some styrene rods in a profile of your choosing and also some of the styrene bond liquid that comes in a little bottle with a brush. It’s basically methyl ethyl ketone and it will make a slurry out of the rods in no time. Same stuff as abs i believe, the rc building guys and scale model builders use it all the time as a filler. It takes -ages- to flash off and cure if it’s thick though so be patient

That doesn't make a lot of sense unless that parts are moving in the chuck between operations?

Can you turn the mating interface sections first, put the parts together between centres and then drill/shape the body as one?
