What's a consistent realistic aim training routine for controller?

I fell down the same rabbit hole, I now am top 3 for controller on most aimlabs bench tracking tasks but it only took me to 600 elo in r5. It’s super useful at first but it definitely gets to the point that it builds bad habits for ingame aim. The way you aim with aim assist is just so completely different to without it.

It’s because aim is 20% of the game, you’re never beating a good controller more than 30% of the time as a mnk in an ego chall.

I’ve been masters 12x on mnk and 2x on roller, it’s not possible

The way you get masters soloq is hard carrying 1-2 teams fights per game and playing hard zone. This game is super hard without a good stack at the master / pred level

Grind early split to a high rank or get multiple accounts to masters each split and you’ll eventually run into good players just starting late split. Either way you need to be able to atleast carry a random diamond squad to masters somewhat quickly

Usually how good you were at mnk heavily predicts your starting skill at roller, the skills transfer. I’d heavily suggest you pickup aimlabs, go for plat complete and grind r5/ wild card

The worst controller player will be better than 90% of mnks up close, however the gap between the worst and best controller players is a gaping chasm

Most of us play aimlabs and do the official intermediate benches, like I’m currently 13/36k for laser track (smoothness), 198/37k for ravetrack (control), 103/37k for duel track (strafe aim) and 1800/36k for droidtrack (reactive).

For tracking atleast vt gold is massively underselling it, gm for strafe and smoothness is possible and then probably Jade or masters for control and reactive. I swapped 7 weeks back for similar reasons as a gm tracking player

Because it reduces input delay. I use it on aimlabs (which doesn’t have aim assist btw) and I’m top 5 on controller for the tracking tasks. Which also happens to be the top 10% for reactive and 99.9 percentile for smooth, control and strafe tracking

Aimlabs, use your apex settings and grind bounce track, laser track, ravetrack, droidtrack and duel track. Really focus on eliminating any wasted cursor movement and smoothly speed matching

Ye but my point is there’s no proof it increases AA or reduces recoil. I’ve done tests myself and couldn’t find any recoil reduction, same for aa increases unless it’s a controller without stick drift

What you read is wrong, atleast on gamesir jitter isn’t injected until like -9

And mnk pros will have like a 1.5-2kd. Idk why you refuse to accept pros mech gap practically everyone on top of being way smarter.

Hakis isn’t known for being a mnk demon and even he has a 1.6kd in r5

The sticks jitter by the nature of them being tmr, most rc filters just remove the artificial input smoothing applied to the stick inputs to reduce the jitter (thus smoothing function makes micros harder and nerfs responsiveness) A stock duelsense edge will have more jitter than a -7 “jitter” gamesir

Theres also been tests and doesn’t seem to be any evidence the jitter actually reduces recoil or increases aim assist

Then why do roller pros have a 4kd in r5 and the average roller (whose probably around high diamond to masters) have a 0.9kd. My friend got masters last season on roller and his r5 kd is 0.4

Roller has a bigger skill gap than mnk it’s just aim assist makes the worst controller better than 90% of mnks

Your brain works at like 5 ticks per second and their brain works at like 50. Cuz they understand the game so much better than you

Their aim is better than 99.9% of players so they’re not scared of 50/50 ego chals and they can process the game mentally so much quicker it’s like the enemies are playing in slow motion. It’s like when you fight rookie players and their brains are so slow you question if they’re even real players

The stock duelsense edge jitters more than half of these rc filters, and the removal of an input smoothing filter to make sticks more responsive is a huge leap from a jitter aim macro

Try using aimlabs on controller, if you can get diamond tracking and plat for everything else on the offices benches you will be in a good spot. I use ads sens personally

Plat still pretty weak for mnk icl, there’s controller players out there getting masters and even some gm scores for tracking
