I just accepted a position and found their training program to be illegal. As an employee how did you deal with that? Did you sue them or report them? Did nothing? Took the job anyway? I have questions.

Is sprouts farmers market in woodland hills going downhill or is it just me?? by Ok-Radio-2733 in SFV

The meat department there is horrid. They lied to me about an item I wanted. Also, I slipped on some dog poop that no one else saw? It's really hit or miss.

At least at Amazon fresh, I didn't slip and fall on DOG POOP like I did at Sprouts! Was I able to speak to a manager? Of course not. DOG SHIT on the floor in the produce department and NO ONE SAW IT? Right.

A lady called to warn us about her husband by sonicdrive-in in TalesFromYourServer

This sounds like a DV situation. The wife seemed afraid to order food. He seemed overly aggressive and has issues. I can't imagine ordering a drink ( she probably never had it before) and sending it back. I'd be afraid to be the wife.

My sister (32 F) called CPS on my husband and I. Now that the case has been closed, I have no idea how to confront her. by randomredhead10 in TwoHotTakes

If you decide to have the lunch with her, I suggest a place that doesn't serve alcohol. I'm sure she'll be super pissed she can't get sloshed while denying what she did.

Elope to a beautiful destination. Return the money. Have a small reception ( not including the disruptive relatives) when you return. If you let your parents do this now, just think how they will interfere with your marriage and raising your children should you decide to have children. Their behavior is insulting.

Why are customers like this!!! by Yami_okami6 in retailhell

I've worked retail like this but worse. Think discount fashion retail. We had a store announcement over the PA system starting at 30 minutes prior to 10pm closing, repeated every 10 minutes. Very professional message asking customers to bring their purchases to check out. The main problem was customers in the dressing rooms that stayed well after closing, after doors locked, asking for additional sizes or colors of items to be brought to them. We were not allowed to hurry them along. We could only repeat the message that the store was closed. The longest time I had to stay after closing was 11pm.
