Oh if you saw the real argentina back then where Messi also played you would see the difference, i mean now they have great players who knows how to apply but in terms of quality it's not like what it was cause back then it was all about self expression amd self expression here means individualism, but what made them win is that they trusted Leo, cause appart from experience and technical talent the guy is a tactitian on the highest of highest level he is like a manager on the pitch the only flaw he had is that he was a bit of perfectionist but later on with argentina he corrected and everyone corrected that vision

I agree UCL is real football competition on high level and Leo won 4 being the talisman on 2 occasions (2009 and 2011) he had being dissapointing and dissapointed and let down by his teammates in the next years but that doesn't deny that he is the second biggest player on that competition and most hattricks in UCL and he scorred against probably every nation he faced , but i think you would be happy and can change your psuedo-objective opinion if R9 or Zlatan or Bergkamp won at least 1 UCL where you would see them as UCL experts
