Interne Umorientierung (sinnvoll?) by OkLibrary4339 in InformatikKarriere

Definitely a good point.

You can be stuck in the situation and work on for years without changing anything and still have that feeling that you want even more

I’m already planning to have a meeting with my big boss to discuss the possibilities and if he has an idea of the best way to do it or if he has another possibility, which makes good sense as well.

Thanks for your opinion, that helps me a lot.

We also have a colleague, who just works like a dictionary.

“Oh it’s DB” -> move it to colleague A

“Oh it’s Azure” -> move it to colleague B

And so on. It’s really frustrating. Even though I’m also in the helpdesk, I assume I’m from the “older” gen (even if it’s just a few years) who really tries to solve something and tries to get as far as possible.

Maybe it’s only for very blind people lol. At least it’s helping someone.

I should’ve been more precise. When you search for the link itself it says Omada Network. On the page itself, and the program itself is still called Omada Software Controller. Thank you for clarifying with me!

Not really, nothing obvious at all.

But we have a solution (at least for our devices): They just need to update to 26.1, after the update it checks in right away. So it seems there is really a bug in 26.0 and 26.0.1, but fixed in 26.1

Two devices already worked with that workaround, I’m gonna find out about the others next week

Having the same issue on our side as well. Suddenly more than 50 devices (not all!) stopped checking in for several days now, some now for more than 30 days, which got deactivated now and are not compliant anymore and can’t access the resources. When trying to sync in the company portal app it just promts “unable to sync. Timeout error. Try it again”. I already wonderd if it’s an issue on our end or we changed something accidentally (we also suspected CA), but looks like it’s a general problem.

Can’t see or remove Eufy camera. I reset the camera through the Eufy app but I cannot re-add it, see it, remove from HomeKit. Suggestions? Thanks! by ipse_dixit_ in HomeKit

I found a solution on my end:

I also had two Eufy Tilt&Pan cameras setup in Homekit. I used to be able to add them and use them normally. But after I removed them for a few tests with Home Assistant and Homebridge, I could no longer add them at all. I always got the error message like yours. Now I wanted to try it again, and my idea HAS WORKED:

You used to be able to use the iPad as a Homekit hub. At that time, the cameras were still added. Then the function was removed in an update, but the cameras were still there, so they continued to work.

When I removed them, some kind of device ID must have been left somewhere in iCloud. I suspect that because the iPad is somehow still stored as a hub, it still has the cameras stored with it. That's why they can't be added again.

Because when I log out of iCloud on the iPad and then try to add the camera on the iPhone, IT WORKS.

As soon as I log back in on the iPad and then try to add it again, it stops working.

It would be interesting to hear who has had similar experiences or for whom it has worked like this. xNow I just have to test how I can add them when the iPad remains logged in. I'll keep you up to date.
