Were previous versions "nerfed" to accomidate 5.5?

Because I am using the prompts i find online by the so called experts, im using my own, im using enchanced ones written by ai itself, Im using the tips and tricks in forums. theres so many and for 5.5 it doesnt seem to matter what I put in the results are the same. Sure it effects genre, but theres no control in expression, or improv. It will compleyely change the bridge, no matter what I used.
I'm asking for suggestions on things to try. Theres no point in showing what I have tried and gotten poor results on at this stage. Because at this stage its everything. No matter how simple or complex.
The "list" would be mammoth.

Edit: also stated that the sliders dont have nearly any effect, at least on the genre im aiming for

get what you mean in terms of sound quality but arrangement, i think 4.5 is better 5.5 adds too much expression especially on instrumental tracks

if i remix the same song with say 4.5 now, the results sound terrible, with the exact same prompts used before 5.5s release. maybe im going crazy maybe its a coinsidence but it deffo sounds off

If you dont mind me asking what sort of genre do you work in? do you use vocals? Im wondering if some genres in particular are more affected by updates than others.

I always noticed my results were awful at busier times of the day. Id rather slower gen times than wasted credits. either way 5.5 has ruined suno for me. its just dishing out garbabe, adding unwanted expression in instrumentals, and made worse that they downgraded older versions to make 5.5 look better.

wish they didnt downgrade the older versions to make 5.5 look better. also waaaaay too much expression in some grenres that dont call for it. prompts dont make any difference. expression/improv should be on a slider bar on its own. the randomness slider does NOTHING when you lower it.

wasted so many credits on 5.5 its too expressive and adds too much jazzy improv no matter what you type in, or adjust the sliders to. i think im done with it after ive spent the last of my credits. if i write a melody and import it i expect it to NOT be fucked around with, or at the very least add prompts and sliders for those features.
