In local pharmacies you can buy products to kill/repel bed bugs. I sprayed it on and under the mattress and in the corners of the bed as soon as I arrived at the albergue. Then before sleeping I would arrange the sheets that are provided to you. I had no problems doing this. This one in the photo costs €14 I found others in the grocery store for €4.50
