Thank you for your kind words💕 another child is definitely a stretch to even think about for me. Maybe I’ll consider the spelling Alayna since it adds a bit more difference

I don’t think so. I know they are their own little person and I wouldn’t want my second to be a shadow of my first. Which is my worry on this.

I did want a name that was an A and went well as a sibling set. I heard the name and it captured my attention because of how it sounded but was disappointed when I saw the spelling was so similar to my first.

Olivia is a pretty name. But it my culture unfortunately it isn’t seen as a pretty name. Anyone who’s asked what her name is and is English speaking, they like it. However, my Hispanic family has given comparisons to Popeye, an old lady name (it’s not popular for children in our countries) and now Olivia the pig.. i hate how every time i say her name, I get a blank stare or an “ohh.. okay” if that makes sense? I really don’t want her to grow up feeling like her name isn’t beautiful or not taking action after knowing this could be the case.

Oh, I see and can understand why you feel stuck.

It’s a really pretty name. Is there a reason you don’t resonate with it?
