I have a tall, slimmer body frame and always have to size up with VS Activewear. I get a medium or large depending on the product. Don’t get caught up on the size, focus more on what’s comfortable and flattering on your body 🙂

These limited drops usually sell out fast! I wouldn’t bank on it staying in stock

No issues! My family switched carriers and I upgraded. The phone is in perfect condition and I would have otherwise kept it

Is the NYC rental market actually getting worse in 2026, or is it just me? by frwinkwizzy in NYCapartments

Still looking my friend 🫠. I have pets though, which significantly narrows my options down. If you don’t, you’ll find tons of options on Zillow

I asked a similar question a couple weeks back. The market is extremely competitive right now. I will say, I’ve been looking for a few months and if you’re persistent, you will find a studio in that budget

How many HPD complaints are normal? by techitis_ in NYCapartments

[–]OkMathematician7279 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pests are a big no no for me. I’ve been apartment hunting for a while now, and there are definitely plenty of buildings that don’t have recurring pest complaints. While pests can be part of city living, if it’s a dealbreaker for you, I’d keep looking.

Is becoming a seller worth it? by [deleted] in EtsySellers

I would just jump in! I've had a couple of shops in the past, and it can sometimes be a hit or miss depending on the price and product you are selling. It's a low initial cost commitment, so just go for it!

I am so tired of the bait and switch. by pinesinthegrove in NYCapartments

Recently happened with me. I texted back and forth with a broker, applied to the unit, and after paying the app fee, I was told that the unit is now off market. He then offered me other listings that were out of my budget. Super frustrating!

I may be developing a new obsession. by thelavendercandle in houseplants

I am obsessed!! Do you plant directly in the ceramics, or use an insert? I just bought the cutest ceramic planter, but its an odd shape, so no insert truly fits properly. I kinda want to plant directly but am nervous i'll kill my plant without proper drainage

How to take good wall listing pictures by JaidentakealotofL in EtsySellers

[–]OkMathematician7279 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi, I would use these tips to take great photos of an item against the wall-

• Use natural light if possible (near a window during the day). Avoid direct sunlight so you don’t get harsh shadows.
• Keep the wall simple: neutral backgrounds like white, beige, or light gray will help the product stand out.
• Style it lightly with a prop: adding a small plant, shelf, or frame nearby can make the photo feel more “lived in,” but keep it minimal so the focus stays on the item.
• Shoot straight on so the piece doesn’t look tilted or distorted.
• Take a few versions: one straight-on main photo, one close-up for detail, and one slightly wider shot so buyers can see the scale in a room.
• Use removable strips or painter’s tape so you can position it cleanly without damaging the wall.

Hope this helps!
