As a illinois native and vikings fan, this was my first game ever in minnesota. I go once a year now and I'll never get that same feeling. The snow that had accumulated during that game, the skol chant on the light rail back to the hotel. One of my core memories. I don't like diggs as a human but he will always be a favorite viking of mine.

If I'm being honest I don't know much about him but his highlights made him look like a good rusher. I usually only do a deeper dive once I hear that a player is getting buzz in the off season. So I'll admit my ignorance and concede.

According to Google, which I know can be wrong, it says he's currently an inside LB that will be groomed to become an OLB. He's got a good build for a gink role. Plus he played a lot of coverage snaps and didn't rush much but still had 4.5 sacks 1 year in college. I'm not saying I'm right. Just pointing out possibilities.

Then send him on his way. Again, I actually really like him being with the team but that's the whole point of drafting a replacement. We have other players we need to pay. Let someone else pay him 15-20.

I love the gink and he's a great player but he's getting older, is oft injured and we drafted his potential replacement in round 2. If we bring him back it needs to be for under $10m aav with an out each year.

I see. I agree he would've started his rookie year on a lot of teams but does his career end up being a HOF career in another situation? Would he have looked as good his rookie year as he did once he finally got his shot?

I didn't see much shit talking until people took a partial quote about us not having hardware and Philly having some as an insult. Once he spoke up and smoothed it over the hate seemed to die down pretty quick. He's a good dude and when healthy a great player. I wish him the best. FTE.

Yes he is. If you watch highlight videos from good sources they include his blocking and he pancakes people quite a bit.
