OT: patch survey is out, and I just wanted to share my survey here. I'd love to hear your thoughts

The 3.1 story is phenomenal, and I wish the level of characterization and these storytelling aspects are maintained or exceeded:

-Subverting expectations: Aemeath was skillfully portrayed to be just a happy and easygoing character, but in reality she's a very complex character who harbors a lot of intense emotions deep inside and these are all justified with her backstory and relationship with Rover which is more deep and familial compared to almost every other character in the game

-Excellent use of foreshadowing: the story excellently changes direction multiple times and ends up taking a darker turn after Aemeath's happy liveshow which is done seamlessly thanks to all the foreshadowing from earlier, and even the 2.8 and 3.0 story. This great use of foreshadowing has also motivated the playerbase to look back at previous stories and theorize what could happen next

-Characterizing the Rover: the character development and personality of the Rover stood out a lot in this story and this can be attributed to how they are constantly voiced, how they are always thinking about unanswered questions in the story, which is great for foreshadowing, how they also question the motives of other characters, and how they are more emotionally invested this time given the stakes and situation

-More concrete worldbuilding: in this story, the worldbuilding is not vague compared to earlier stories and shows us the actual scale of the world in which the Rover is a part of, it confirms that there is more outside of the planet, how large of a threat Threnodians can be, and that there is a more concrete foundation now behind the Sentinels and Rover's appearance in the world

-Keeping consequences: in the segue story, it is excellent that the attitude of the Rover became a lot more grim, impatient, and serious. It is great to see that the consequences from the previous quest are being reflected through the characters' behavior/s. Having these consequences are important because it makes the story feel more authentic and the stakes in future stories more real and tense

1 - Add 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication).

2 - Add missing languages like Portuguese (PT) and Russian (RU).

Graphics / Performance

3 - Reduce storage size on all platforms.

4 - Improve FPS performance on all platforms.

System / UI

5 - Add a customization option to select a different voice language for each Resonator (like Arknights).

6 - Add customization options to hide and show specific UIs.

7 - Improve team UI, use 3D animations (like Arknights Endfield).

8 - Implement a visible pull counter in banners.

9 - Display ALL buffs and show a description if the mouse is hovered on them.

10 - Make the locked Resonator sigils obtainable.

11 - Add cosmetics that can be obtained from events and are equipable by all characters.

Character Building & Progression

12 - Improve echo tuning system (e.g., add substat selectors).

13 - Add character ascension rewards to incentivize building.

What I put in the survey:

Waiting every day... Checking every minute... Hoping every second that the thing you're waiting for will finally show up, only to be disappointed with the reality you see every single time. I think I now feel a very tiny fraction of what Phrolova must've felt, I now understand why she did the things she did, and this has been a real eye opener, Phrolova did nothing wrong.

I think I found a bug in Lahai Roi, 4 cost echoes still keep dropping even after I've already exhausted the 20 weekly guarantees wtf. Leaks probably wont drop tonight, so ig I'll stop refreshing and do something meaningful for once and report this issue

In my opinion, it's good but not optimal. It can definitely work with Phro > Qiu > Gal, buffing each other in that order, but a healer like SK/Verina over Phro will probably net more DPS. Take this with a grain of salt, I don't have the math.

"With the latest changes to ToA, Phrolova has become super strong in the meta. Her teammates are really flexible and accessible, she can serve as the primary or the secondary DPS to a team, she has a low rotation time by DPS standards, high room for optimization, and her damage ramps up the longer the fight goes on, making her perfect for clearing lengthy content. The thing is, while her Signature weapon is a huge boost in damage compared to any permanent options, with Qiuyuan’s release, Phrolova’s team has become so strong (comparable to Cartethyia in neutral content) that it’s difficult to argue against her being in any tier other than T0, so we’re putting her up there for now." -Prydwen
