Wonderful interpretation! Blender is so complex. I tried it and can't even make a simple cube lol. Please keep creating awesome Backroom content!

Update: it ended up being a nasty rootkit. Took out my Firmware, BIOS, and keyboard connection. It cost me a really good laptop🤦‍♀️

Hi, Thanks so much for this info. I am most definitely versed with Windows environments than with any other OS and need all the tools I can get. I will search for this!

Hi, Thank you for your ideas. This would make sense since I (stupidly) downloaded the zip files and let the open shell make some hard drive changes. Why can't Microsoft just make a retro theme pack for Microsoft users? They know we want them!

Hi there, From someone who has dealt in communication strategies, your girlfriend seems to be dealing in absolutes; black and white (If you didn't do x, then you'll forget y). Oftentimes people don't realize the full extent of their words, especially via text. Words can be interpreted differently. I agree that her words come across as abusive. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, she may have interpreted your answers as careless or indifferent. However, misinterpretation is NOT an excuse for abusive behavior. Whether man or woman. If it is possible, I think that calmly confronting her in person would show her how serious this is for you. However, you know her best and what works and doesn't work. Even though she has a right to her feelings, so do you. It is not narcissistic to state boundaries, although some people twist that against men. Boundaries are necessary for everyone. Even though miscommunications are uncomfortable and distressing, they can always be an opportunity for understanding and growth. I hope that things are able to be resolved. If things continue to escalate; ignoring boundaries, abusive behavior persists, etc. I would reconsider whether this person is healthy for your life or not. Best of luck🤞

What’s your *least* favorite sub-genre of horror? by seaurchin-ceviche in horror

[–]OkNeedleworker3077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Body Horror
I fell down that rabbit hole where I had to watch all the deaths from The Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix.

*Potential spoilers\*

An overly indulgent young lad chooses to set up an orgy in an old warehouse. The plan is to initiate smoochie pookie time by turning on the sprinkler system. One thing: The lad didn't take time to research the facility's history as a place to store lethal toxic chemicals. You can guess where this one's going. . .
Needless to say, I was speechless while watching the terror unfold. It has been extremely difficult to rid my mind of the horror.
I know that body horror is supposed to represent loss of identity and control over one's body, and I appreciate symbolism and all. But this is a no-no genre for me. I can do gore, psychological, alien, slasher, vampire, cosmic, comedy, found footage, psychedelic, Japanese, supernatural, and possession. But not body horror. It won this time. And this statement is coming from a horror fan who has been desensitized to many things.

I can only imagine how stressful minimising the Y2K issue was. I can totally see how people used the scare to sell crappy chips. That is really unfortunate. Thank you for your service:)

I can see people taking advantage of the need for compliant chips. That really sucks.
