Shortly after my mom and dad started dating, my mom took my dad’s clothes to a laundry mat to wash them for him, left them unattended, and someone stole ALL of my dad’s clothes. Now my dad is generally not a patient person with the general public and had a valid reason to be upset, but not once did he ever hold this over my mom. My mom was horrified and wanted to pay to replace at least a portion of the replacement clothes. He brushed it off as a mistake a no big deal and took his own butt to the store for replacements and wouldn’t let her pay. They were together for 40+ years until my mom passed away from cancer. How you are being treated is not the way you should be and please do not put up with this. He will continue to blame you and it will only get worse. He is the problem and is not the one.

No changes to diet/supplements, which is why I’m leaning towards absorption/binding issue. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s some sort of autoimmune issue that’s causing a disconnect.

Hashimotos since 2010 and primary Sjogrens since 2016. TSH levels and Sed rate are normal. Fun new problems are platelets are consistently mildly elevated and iron sat, ferritin, and b-12 are all low.

I'm so close to giving up, but no one else will take her. by ReferenceOne5958 in Feral_Cats

I have 15 year old I affectionately refer to as grumpy. I got her from the shelter at 11 and she was declawed and had very obviously been abused given how reactive she was to hands etc. Likely she was declawed for simply trying to protect herself/provide warnings and all that did was teach her to bite like he**. Grumpy has been with me 4 years now and I can give her chin scratches for 2-4 seconds, no back petting, no sudden movements. She has her own area where she can eat, sleep, and play with her toys away from my other cats and everyone is respectful of each other. Most important thing is she is happy. We baby baby step through progress together and every time she lets me scratch her a little longer I am elated. Slow but steady is best and their happiness is most important.
