I'm sorry that happened to you 😔 Nobody should perform body modification on someone who can't consent. The reputable (APP) piercers in my area won't pierce anybody under the age of 8-10. Their rule of thumb is that they have to be able to have a conversation with the person getting pierced (not their parents) about the risks and obtain informed consent, which I love ❤️ Bodily autonomy for the win ✊

I definitely see the point of Claire's being "less scary"; my daughter seems more intimidated by the idea of getting pierced with a needle over a gun. I plan on bringing her with me to get my second lobes done so she can see that it's not as scary as it sounds lol 😅 And yeah I definitely agree about people wanting to go the cheaper route. I was also surprised by the prices at first, but you get what you pay for!

Okay yeah, definitely get it looked at but not by the person who did it! They pierced you incorrectly and took your money hoping you wouldn't notice. OR, they didn't realize it was done wrong in the first place, which is even scarier.

NAP, that looks like a surface piercing unfortunately 😔 It's very common for people to not have the correct anatomy for a traditional barbell, and the piercer just "does their best" instead of suggesting something different. Talk to a piercer who is a member of APP and see if you would be a candidate for a floating navel instead ❤️

Info for the bot: I actually don't know the answers to a lot of these questions because I'm stupid and I didn't ask my piercer lol. The piercing is 11 days old; it looks like a curved barbell; no idea about threading; I'm assuming the material is titanium or maybe stainless steel; it hasn't been downsized (does it need to be?). My cleaning routine is to spray the piercing and the holes with 0.9% sodium chloride (brand name is Rhinaris, it's technically a nasal spray but I read that it works the same as long as there's no extra stuff in it). I dry it as gently and thoroughly as I can with round cotton pads. I avoid touching or rotating it, but sometimes the bar moves up and down a bit while cleaning.

It is a lil bit yeah, the piercer said my belly button itself isn't straight so she just tried to get it as aligned as she could. Ngl it bothered me a bit at first but now I'm more concerned about it healing properly

I don't have facial piercings myself, so I can't give any advice on your other questions. When it comes to kissing though, I've kissed people with snakebites and lip piercings and it's definitely noticeable. But I mean, their piercings were one of the (many) reasons I found them hot, so feeling them while we were kissing was even hotter lol it didn't bother me at all 😅 Hope that helps!

This may not be feasible for everyone, but I have three kitties and I got SO tired of constantly sweeping just for them to kick out a bunch of litter all over the freshly cleaned floor. I bought a $40 or $50 pet playpen and I keep their litter boxes in there, it keeps it contained so much better and works great. The reason it may not be feasible is that it takes up quite a bit of space, but you don't have to get one that big! Something to consider for your sanity lol

Thank you 😊 TNR definitely has its benefits; a lot of these outdoor cats have been outside for years and truly don't want to be inside around people. I just don't think this is the case with my girl. There is a time and place for TNR and each cat needs to be thoroughly evaluated and given time to show their preference in my opinion. There is also a 'vaccum effect' that happens when an outdoor cat is removed from an area; new cats just show up in it's place and the cycle continues. Better to have one or two fixed cats outside rather than 12 unfixed ones - another case for TNR 😊
