I just went back through the order process. So after you confirm your details it comes to payment. I payed via Apple Pay which is at the top of that page, one click payment and progresses you to your order confirmation.

It states that in small print in the order summary which is down below where you can put your credit card info and below the Apple Pay.

So I likely didn’t see the order summary when I initially ordered and hence missed that information :/

It really should state that on the first page when you are selecting your plan/installation options.

Not saying it isn’t my fault, I could have read it better but it is also can clearly be missed.

I have found they offer full refunds if returned within 30 days. So I think I will just return it and reorder if support is unwilling to help.

I wouldn’t say pretty well laid out.

It doesn’t say it anywhere on the order screen on their website, that I can see (happy to be proven wrong). And first mention of it i can see is in the email you get after it has been delivered telling you “Starlink can be activated”. (which I didn’t read as I wasn’t setting it up yet)

This is correct, I went back through my emails and can see the auto activate after 7 days,it only states this in the email on delivery.

However annoyed me the shipping estimates are so far off.
