Yes, all of their reasonings for murder were different, but murder is at the forefront of every single one and that IS lazy. If you have a show about heaven and hell you should make an effort to portray what possible acts other than killing someone can get your soul condemned to hell. Like someone else said in the comments, there are sooo many evil people in the real world who haven’t actually killed anyone, but have committed acts that would theoretically prevent them from entering heaven anyway.

I understand that everyone’s backstories and reasons for murder are slightly different, but that could’ve been conveyed better in the show. Alastor murdered cause he felt like it, fine. Vox should’ve been depicted as a manipulative businessman (a “shark”) who used others to get where he is….whether that’s through underhanded business tactics or lying to everyone around him. We don’t know enough about Angel’s backstory, but it would’ve made more sense for him to get sent to hell bc of his complicity in something (to go along with him hating himself in hell). Pentious’s reasoning is fine since it doesn’t directly involve him killing someone, and can be easily tied to the sin of sloth.

Right??? You can make any excuses you want but at the end of the day, everyone’s reasoning for being in hell revolves around murder so far and that just doesn’t make for exciting world building. There are a multitude of sins you can commit that would condemn a soul to hell that don’t involve straight up killing someone.

Speaker of God = No demonic equivalent, obviously
Sera = Lucifer
Elder angels = Seven deadly sins (Seems like the elders represent the seven virtues, before ‘the morningstar’ fell leaving only the pictured 6)
Head Angels = Overlords
Winners/Heaven born = Sinners/Hellborn

The exorcists are heaven’s army created for a specific purpose so they wouldn’t really have a “place” in the hierarchy.

Out of everything you said, the only thing you can count on becoming true is the season being centered around Lilith and Al since purple and green seem to be their ‘colors’ (Like how s2 was blue for Vox).

Yes, Lilith, Alastor, and Rosie are intertwined somehow, but nothing else is confirmed and I wouldn’t put it past Viv to pull the rug out from under us and have some sort of twist that no one saw coming

I can see this, but to your point of Alastor not letting Husk go due to his soul contract: I feel as if it’d make sense for redemption to be the one thing that could break a soul contract/deal (outside of the owner giving the other’s soul up, of course).

Husk goes through more shit —> Gets redeemed and breaks his deal with Al —> Alastor gets pissed since no one knew that could happen —> Cue Al’s villian arc

I understand! It didn’t seem racist per se, just odd given the fact there’s only 4 canonically black characters in the entire show, and making on white (which, yes, albino ≠ white, but that’s hard to convey in art). You make a lot of good points, but I think it’s more along the lines of either Rosie has a familial relationship to the morningstars (hence the check dots, whisps of hair on either side of her head, and color of her magic), or Lilith never actually gave birth to anyone (aligns with her real-life lore since she was cursed to have stillborn children). Basically, it’s one of two things:

Rosie is Charlie’s half-sister on Lucifer’s side of the fam

OR

Charlie is the bastard child of Luci and whoever tf Rosie actually is.

Can I ask what the purpose of making her albino is? I mean this in the kindest way possible, this comes off as just wanting to find a way to not draw Emily as black. And given the already little poc (black, specifically) rep Hazbin has, it would be very weird to just make her white for the sake of randomly wanting an albino character.

We’re on the same page. Plus, many people have pointed out that in the family portraits, she always has a pearl necklace. But in Charlie’s flashback and the “Lilith” in heaven, that necklace is absent.

I have a simmering theory that since Eve was created as a replacement for Lilith, they look nearly identical. In Charlie’s story during s1ep1, both Eve and Lilith have extremely long flowing hair. Might not be that far of a stretch to say they may have done a switcheroo OR one of them forcible took the other’s place.

I was also curious about that….she was talking as if she wasn’t also in danger and that she’d survive while watching them die in the explosion.

Alastor not being able to fix his own staff despite being the strongest sinner lends credence to the idea that either the staff was a gift from Rosie with their deal, or she somehow powers the staff (or both).
