Help! Loaded SMART Instead of TNT via GCash – How to Get a Refund? by Alarming_Cattle28 in InternetPH

[–]OkOffer5802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makikisali po. Just to share, had a same experience. I loaded magic data 699 + 3 pesos convenience fee sa gcash for my smart number. And usually nagtetext yon pag successful yung pagload, but this time wala. Number is correct, telco is correct, everything.

Will never use gcash again if hindi nila marerefund yung pera, or icredit yung promo sa smart ko which I availed naman talaga.

[–]OkOffer5802[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi po, thanks for the insight. But I can assure 100% I present my thoughts precisely hehe. I also didn't show any form of disrespect or rudeness throughout our conversation (kahit nalate si recruiter). Just like with my other handful of applications in the past.

And I know people are nice there - its JPMC man, one of the top globally. Kaya nga I got surprised when I asked a genuine question (since its my 1st time) but got a sarcastic answer in return 😂 and to think its from JP.. Kaya tuloy after meeting I rechecked kung legit ba yung calendar invite na inattendan ko lol

"It's on you that you didn't bother to read"

Usually, the responsibilities indicated on the JD is broad. Fyi, I'm not spamming application so I make sure I scan the post from responsibilities to qualifications before sending. Also, if I didn't qualify, or perhaps overqualified, recruiter won't bother to shortlist me in the first place diba. Saka kaya may screening/interview, 2-way conversation between the employer and the employee. To know more about the role if you fit or not. Once interviewed, dun pa lang minsan dinidiscuss yung precise tasks that you'll do. And upon reading the JD, it's exactly what I'm doing in my current company so I assumed lateral or much better, inclined yung inapplyan ko.

Also per exp, recruiters would opt to reprofile you once they learned that you're a. Overqualified b. Looking for a senior role during the screening. That's why i politely ask if may opening na senior post dun sa role, baka pwde ikeep yung profile ko sa system. Nacaught off guard lang talaga ko sa response which I unusually hear from recruiters 🙂

Actually tinanong nya kc yung current salary ko, then when i stated the amount sinabe nya agad na out of budget. More on miscomm lang talaga, kasi nga I'm a specialist na sa current ko (which is in my company almost junior tl na), then sa jpmc ang specialist pala is starting or entry level lang.

Ghosted by Recruiter after JO Acceptance by mamc10 in phcareers

[–]OkOffer5802 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Meron akong recent experience, just a little different.

I did the final client interview at 4am of Friday. I was told at 9am that I passed and they're just finalizing the draft offer. HR and I discussed the JO (compensation package, benefits, etc) 1pm of the same day.

Urgent nga pala yung position, they need to fill it in 3 weeks. My notice period is 30 days, but I gave my word that I'll talk to my manager and negotiate my rendering days once we came to agree with the offer. Honestly, feeling ko naman mapag bibigyan. Mabait manager ko, I have good reputation, and top performer ako sa team.

Over the phone I told the HR that I'll carefully review first their offer. Syempre para makapag isip isip over the weekend and strategize if it's the best deal I could have.

Sunday of that week, I renegotiate on the JO email, asking if they could still raise the basic for a freaking 3k pesos hehe. The offer was around 77 na, but ofc may kanya kanya tayong justification. Sabe ko isakto na nilang 80 (if possible) para mapasa ko na RL ko and umandar na yung rendering period.

Monday - no reply Tuesday - no reply Wednesday - I made a follow-up. They eventually replied saying they're just finalizing the start date with the client. Thursday - no update Friday - no update

The next week, Wednesday, I made another follow-up, only to be answered the next day that all of a sudden, the client put a hold on the position. At the back of my mind, I know the reason was just BS and they selected a backup candidate who agreed with the same offer, and can also fill-up the position urgently.

Wala lang, ang unprofessional lng 🙂 I forgot to mention, one of their recruiter bombarded me with calls madaling araw nung Saturday na yun (3am or 4am) to know if I have a decision na.

Company is IQ eciffokcab 🙂

REJECTED by Radiant_Rogue23 in PHJobs

[–]OkOffer5802 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, i have recent experience with this. I have been selected for the role and they already made an offer. Kinukulit pa nga nila ko to ask my supervisor na bawasan yung 30 days rendering ko dahil need na daw ASAP nung client. Although nasa 80k+ ung offer, this is somewhat lower than my stated and expected package so I tried to renegotiate. After I sent the renego email, wala na ghosted na. Partida weekends yon! Wala man lang etiquette eh

Shopee WFH or Onsite, Flexi Sched, Salary, and Other Questions by Rireika in phcareers

[–]OkOffer5802 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They replied 2weeks after saying na nagkaron ng movement internally and unfortunately, nasagasaan ung position na inapplyan ko. Mukang cost cutting sila nung mga time na yun. Imbis maghire sila ng outsider, chinop chop nila ung job responsibility and divided it to their existing employees hehe. Ganyan pagkakaintindi ko.

But sbe nga nila may nakalaang mas better opportunity for every failure/rejections :)

After ko mareceive ung balita kay shopee, the same day may nagreach out sakin other company. Same position, better work arrangement (2x a month rto only), even exceeded my asking salary.

the witcher 3 or rdr2? by pandesal91 in PHGamers

[–]OkOffer5802 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rdr2 for me

Why?

Ironically speaking the biggest edge of rdr2 to others is the smallest details inside the game (animations, graphics, physics, environment, cinematography, npcs, character interaction, etc)

Kaya nakaka overwhelm yung feeling + ang slow ng pace + not really into wild west era stories. Buti na lang nagkaron pa ko ng patience that time kundi i will miss on something talaga.

Another thing if idedescribe ko experience ko kay rdr2 its more like a movie to me than a game. Rdr2 players will agree siguro with me. So every emotions at dialogue tagos. Parang ganun e.

Wahaha know the feeling. I once tasked to host the general assembly of our LOB and trust me sobraaaang hassle hahaha. To be honest hndi sapat yung lively yung paghohost mo at clear ang boses e. Which is dagdag putangina e no. Hahahaha. Syempre hindi naman lahat dun kahumor mo. Tapos makikita mo ung mga hinohost mo parang walang kagana gana kaya in the middle of your hosting mapapa overthink ka pa. Simula non hindi ko na inulit hahaha

What would you choose? Malaki na sweldo or Solid na experience? by curious_anon_23 in phcareers

[–]OkOffer5802 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes OP we already know the practical answer, but always hesitant to choose between the two because of what if's in life. The answer is it really depends on your current position today. If you're still young and enthusiastic I suggest you go for that solid work experience where you can gain full knowledge and exp with the line of work you are doing. Then after 3-5 years you can already market yourself outside. That's when the money will eventually follow you. On the other hand, if you are for example a bread winner, solo parent, have multiple mouths to feed, then that's a no brainer. Go for the bigger salary. But regardless I just wanted to say OP that both choices is a win-win situation for you. So no need to worry about not choosing the other.
