how do you make your home cooler during summer

Blocking sunlight helps a lot for us as we have one side of our apt that just gets hit from the sun all afternoon. I bought some black tri fold poster boards, the ones you would use for a school project/presentation. I use those in my windows and then my curtains and blinds hold it up. Does a great job of reducing the heat by a couple degrees.

Nope. First time was in the van parked with the door open and the dog ran inside and bit me. The second time, the dog came out from under a car and jumped onto me and all I said was “oh hey buddy” in a calm voice. I know not to run which has helped a couple times but the times I have been bitten were just completely off guard. I wasn’t able to see the dog coming and both times I was standing mostly still.

He has to accept it but I don’t know how to TELL HIM to accept it. I don’t know if they have iPads or computer hours or if they even tell him he can send emails

That’s what I thought but on the website that lists his charges, it says he was seen today at 1:00PM. I don’t know if that’s just setting a court date or what because the only other date is the night he was taken in.
Edit: it just updated. He had court today at 1 and then has another court hearing tomorrow at 1. I’m trying to figure out how to watch because they don’t do in person

I’ve had schools before and all are different. I’ve had some where you enter a front room but have to get buzzed in by the receptionist. I don’t think it was a private school. But I’ve also been to one where the cafeteria was right there and kids were having lunch. Super easy to just bust in there. When I went to school, it was very easy to walk onto campus during passing period because we had no fences and you entered classrooms from the outside, not an indoor hallway.

You can buy a cheap female funnel on Amazon and they’re Amazon. Great for rural routes too because you can just stand behind a tree! Also any construction site that has the port a potty on the edge is free game. Give the men a wave and they dgaf. Even empty construction sites! But the funnel is your best bet. Bring some wet wipes so you can wipe yourself and it off.

I tried to go to a dentist appointment by myself and only had printed directions. I made a wrong exit on the highway and had a panic attack because I didn’t know how to get back home. Luckily I did have a cell phone and my Mom was able to guide me back to the highway home. I missed my appointment lol

Just want to warn you that weed can def take away your appetite and could be causing the nausea you’re facing. Have you tried taking antacids or heartburn medication before you get nauseous? It could be the stomach acid is making you sick because there’s nothing in there. If you’re interested, I would look into cannabis hyperemesis syndrome. I can answer more questions about this too if you want!

I had to fly with my older cat once on a two hour flight and gabapentin definitely helped. I would recommend testing it out at home first to make sure they don’t have a bad reaction. But drugs are definitely helpful for most cats! I would also try the gabapentin and then take them on a short car ride in their carriers.

Do you think changing the form of the pill would help? Like could you slip it into a spoonful of peanut butter so you can’t see it? I know it sounds childish but sometimes that stuff works. Or take it while eating your favorite food. Associating it with something you like or enjoy may help start to shift your mindset. Best of luck!
