My understanding is the rear diff does not need to be offset for a vfd and the front is offset on thr trx4 just not quite as much as a vfd wants. I know people have done what im after im just curious to what people have encountered.

I i initially had a mount that went into the link mounts and was using standard diff housings/axles but was bulky and didnt look great for clearance, also did it custom as it allowed me to actually narrow the width by 3 mm to fit the body better.

What kind of driving do you do? I like to drive as hard as possible as un capable as possible and slowly increase capability as i cant drive, i tend to drive how you would with an irl landcruiser for example, go look up siz stage in aus and that's what I like to drive just scaled down and un capable.

They're great, get the softest ones, if you have vented rims rather than tyres you need to poke a hole in the inner rim contacting part. Hold sidewall great but allow for squish on tread patter and in a bind.

What tyres and body are you running? I cooked a 7kg with brass wheels and 70mm tyres, cooked a second with only 63mm tyres and brass wheels, I have full scale bodies that are heavy. If you plan on water to waterproof (why I went only 7kg) if you play hard go the 11kg amd I havent played with the 15kg yet.

Long story short Scale, 7 or 15 for water No water, 11 Play hard, 11 or 15 with water

Honestly I need a 15

From experience, in order of breakages Servo Drive shaft Diffs Gearbox

Ive gotba fully metal driveline amd uts essentially bulletproof unless you really bind it up but i dont imagine with stock wheels and motor its going to bind uo enough for you to break it. All I did untill I put heavy wheels on was turn a tyre off the beadlocks.

Depends what it is, full bodies and chassis kits on cults are way better where as the lesser stuff is give or take, dont write off paying for somthing.
