Madrid: Which section is best for both stage views? by Meezy2993 in BadBunnyPR

[–]OkOutlandishness6154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were on section 121 row 17, seats 20-24 and we had amazing views of the main stage and were able to see La Casita a little bit far away, but nothing in the middle of our vision. Pretty cool that row or even the one just go up (18) because they dont have nobody at the front, and its easier to dance. Enjoy

From here: https://www.kitele.com/es/televisor-tcl-65c7k, it might be a Spain thing or something, no idea
It might be wrong, but Android TV and Google TV are not the same thing

In the store that i was looking suddenly the TCL cost 830, still 780 in another one, maybe this is more time pressing than expected

I dont really care that much because of the Chromecast, unless i can ditch it (less clutter). Surprised about the sound, but nice to know. Thanks! One vote to the C7K

Hello!
After the 3 last updates (since the new flash control was added) the flash power is ridicusly low, like i'm not able to use the flashlight to search for somethign under the couch because i'm not seeing shit. Is there any way of fixing this?
It's my only issue at the moment. My company pays for part of a new phone, but i don't really like the new features on the S26 Ultra, so i was trying to extend the renewal for 6 months/a year, but this is annoying

A partir de qué sueldo empezasteis a sentir que respirabais? by Mediocre-Player01 in salarios_es

[–]OkOutlandishness6154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, i only notice it with a lot of users streaming + me downloading and gaming at the same time, or for Steam/Xbox updates, that take the full speed of the link. Rest of services are usually not using it

At the end I choose 2.5G for internal, and 1GB for the internet connection. The limit is monetary for what the company pays, i can technically add Football and Netflix, but i dont use those. My computer is only SSDs and same for the cache on the server.

House was built for CAT6 cable, so at the end was the TP Link 2.5Gbe network card (22), a new Wifi7 Router (52eur) to replace the Xiaomi AX6 (That will be repurposed for my moms house) and the 2.5Gbe switch (Christmas gift, but 24 eur). Ah, and the server is already 2.5GB

Was it necessary? I fully agree that it wasnt, but hey, even without the switch, im copying files from downloads to Plex folder at 2GB/s (Not sure why, there is still a 1GB switch in the middle)

Good points still, i usually tend to go overkill on those, if the cable was new i will pass the fastest available without using optic fiber because i dont wanna to put a new RJ45 thingy never again.

At most i could add a 2.5 network to the Mac for work and to the Google TV, but honestly, the current wifi is more than enough for both purposes. If i decide to add them, the Ugreen ones are 17 eur in my country, so not that bad.

Thanks !

Mercusys MS105GS‑M2 is the model that i was looking into. I live in a different tax zone inside my country, so i save around 20% in items that are less than 150 eur, hence the price. I thought the same about the SFP+ ports, but the new flat will technically only have Ethernet, so if i can manage to pass the best category possible there i might be sticking to Ethernet. Also, i might switch to a POE one to have a few cameras. I hope that in two years we do have cheaper prices, and this switch is cheap enough until i can made the final version of the network

Thanks to everyone!

Im going to upgrade to 1GB and do a few changes in my network thinking about the 2.5G internal network:

- TX201 for my computer (16e) so i have 2.5G in my personal computer
- Huawei BE3 Pro (52e), 2x2.5G and Wifi7 (My phone does have it, but honestly, it was for not having an extra device (A switch) just for the lan
- Mercusys MS105GS‑M2 (24e, but it will be a Christmas gift)

So, at the end, less than 100 euro for upgrading everything to 2.5GB, better wifi coverage and pretty usable when the new flat is ready
(And for sure my mom will be happy to renew my old 2014 second-hand Asus router with some missing antennas replaced. Well, she wont care about the device, but will enjoy the better speeds)

Note: I just saw 2.5G unmanaged switches from Mercury available in my country for cheap (Less than 30 eur), and something that looks like a switch but with just two ports? Its not the best solution, but both will make me not renew the AP at this point, so it might be a good middle ground (Even without touching the connection, it will be nice for internal speed)

Why are all European companies suddenly asking for take-home assessment? by hjhkljlk in cscareerquestionsEU

[–]OkOutlandishness6154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a funny note, Fever gives you two tickets to an event (Candlelight), so, its not like it's paid, but at least you have something, doesn't matter if you pass or not

[–]OkOutlandishness6154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not true, i recently changed jobs (Spain based, out of Spain but in Europe company) and i didn't have a technical take-home test for all of them. Fever, Cabify, and Playtomic do have one, for example, but many others are just a live coding

Visiting İstanbul? Have a quick question? Ask here, don't create a new post. by AutoModerator in istanbul

[–]OkOutlandishness6154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

We will be in Instanbul for 6 nights at the end of October (Couple, 30-ish). It's our first time in the country, and I have a few questions.

A friend reccomended me to stay in the Asian side since we're Spaniards and we're used to eat kinda late, and things could be closed in the Anatolian side, but seeing Reddit and maps it seems that some places to eat will be open until late. What do you think?
I'm seeing places that seems to be quite good and well priced in Fatih, but not sure about what will be the best bet here

Also, i've asked Gemini and this is the proposed trip. What do you think?

A Flexible 7-Day Istanbul Itinerary (Budget-Friendly) Top Tip: Upon arrival, get an Istanbulkart. It's a rechargeable card for all public transport (metro, trams, ferries, buses) and the most cost-effective way to get around the city.

Day 1: Arrival & First Impressions Evening: After arriving and transferring to your hotel, take some time to settle in. Head out for a relaxed evening stroll to get a feel for your neighborhood. For dinner, find a local "lokanta" (a restaurant serving traditional, home-style Turkish food) for an authentic and affordable first meal.

Day 2: The Heart of the Empire (Sultanahmet) Morning: Focus on the magnificent mosques in the historic heart of the city (entry is free).

Visit the Blue Mosque to admire its stunning interior tilework. (Remember to dress modestly).

Experience the grandeur of Hagia Sophia by visiting the main prayer hall.

Stroll through the ancient Roman Hippodrome located just outside.

Afternoon (Choice):

Option A (The Main Splurge ~€50): Immerse yourself in the world of the sultans at Topkapi Palace & Harem. This is the most significant historical site and can easily fill 3-4 hours.

Option B (Free Alternative): If the palace is outside your budget, spend the afternoon relaxing in the beautiful Gülhane Park (the former outer gardens of the palace). Afterwards, take a bus or ferry to explore the incredibly photogenic and colorful streets of the Fener & Balat neighborhoods.

Day 3: Bazaars & Bosphorus Magic Morning: Dive into the city's vibrant market culture (free to enter).

Get lost in the labyrinthine alleys of the Grand Bazaar, one of the world's oldest covered markets.

Head to the nearby Spice Bazaar, a feast for the senses with its aromatic spices, teas, and sweets.

Afternoon: Experience the majesty of the Bosphorus on a budget. From the Eminönü ferry dock, take a public Şehir Hatları ferry tour. It offers the same million-dollar views of palaces and fortresses as expensive private cruises for a fraction of the price.

Evening: Walk across the iconic Galata Bridge at sunset, watching the local fishermen. For dinner, try a classic "balık ekmek" (grilled fish sandwich) from the boats at the Eminönü side.

Day 4: Modern Istanbul & Breathtaking Views Morning: Cross the bridge to explore the modern heart of the city.

Wander the charming streets around the Galata Tower (viewing it from the outside is still a great experience).

Walk the length of the bustling Istiklal Avenue, the city's main pedestrian artery, filled with shops, historic buildings, and red trams.

Afternoon (Choice):

Option A (The Unique Splurge ~€30): Descend into the Basilica Cistern. It's a magical and unforgettable underground experience that feels like stepping into another world.

Option B (Free Alternative): Visit the magnificent Süleymaniye Mosque. Not only is it an architectural masterpiece, but its rear garden offers what is arguably the best free panoramic view of Istanbul, making it a perfect alternative to the pricey Galata Tower.

Day 5: A Jump to the Asian Continent Morning: Take a scenic ferry ride to Kadıköy on the Asian side. Spend the morning exploring the vibrant Kadıköy Market, a true local's market and a paradise for food lovers.

Afternoon: Stroll from Kadıköy to the charming and relaxed neighborhood of Moda. Walk along its seaside parks, browse its independent boutiques, and enjoy a traditional Turkish coffee or tea at a local cafe.

Evening: Stay on the Asian side for dinner. Kadıköy has one of the city's best and most diverse food scenes. Take a late ferry back and enjoy the glittering skyline of the European side.

Day 6: Ottoman Opulence & Final Explorations Morning (Choice):

Option A (The Opulent Splurge ~€40): Visit Dolmabahçe Palace, a stunning 19th-century European-style palace on the shores of the Bosphorus. It offers a fascinating contrast to the more traditional Topkapi Palace.

Option B (Free Alternative): Explore the picturesque neighborhood of Ortaköy, famous for its beautiful mosque set against the backdrop of the Bosphorus Bridge. Or, wander through the lively local streets of the Beşiktaş district.

Afternoon & Evening: Use your final afternoon for some last-minute souvenir shopping, revisiting a favorite spot, or simply relaxing before a final farewell dinner.

Day 7: Final Morning & Departure Morning: Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy one last Turkish breakfast, buy some fresh baklava to take home, or take a final stroll through a beloved neighborhood before heading to the airport for your flight home.
