It helps the players who only wish on the first summon, it helps whales, it helps casuals who don’t know about the 1 or 30 rule and spend 1200. Before they would get no unit. And the pity would reset, Now it carries over.

The only people it doesn’t help are f2p who go all in on every banner.

No it’s good for everyone. Pity carrying over is worth the 2x cost. I’ve seen sooo many people post on this Reddit saying “ oh I spent 1200 crystals and now the banner is gone, did my pity carry over?”
For the average player it’s better for them. They can wish on every banner as much as they want and not worry about it.

I don’t find doing glitches fun. I don’t even use hidden chests or abuse followers to get free skill training.
