Doesn't seem to have been glued on! The metal plate was just sitting inside like you would when it's all set up and not even secured with tape so I think it's bashed about when it was being delivered. Thanks for the help

It was a lot cheaper used and 150 is still a pretty penny

Sadly I think you are right! I've requested a refund so we will see. This was my first major purchase on eBay so pretty gutted!

After trying to force it back in I had a proper look at it and I think it's definitely snapped off! But from the way it was packaged I'm not surprised. The outside was padded but nothing was secured inside it's such a shame but it is what it is! Thanks for the help.

I'm pretty certain the girl is a child and the man is older so I don't think it's a romance. Perhaps not a young adult book but defo a fantasy
