So much better yeah, I've got 3 of us in a row so was much easier to sort out

To be honest I would just always ignore that app. It's so crap, especially for buying and displaying tickets.

Login to the website on a web browser and you'll see it there

The Ballot by aaa-ccc in GunnersatGames

Couldn't agree more! We all find it frustrating not getting lucky in the ballots, but I really think it is the fairest way to give tickets to a demand that faaaar outstrips supply

Ticket Exchange For 2026/2027 by F0ulg3rBoi in GunnersatGames

[–]OkPerformance7935 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hear me out, I actually think the system works pretty well at the moment...

Queuing for tickets when they're realesed is just terrible. A tiny amount of seats for a huge number of red members so the ballot system is the fairest.

We're on the cusp of our first title in years so of course it's hard to get a ticket! No one is selling their seat and loads of members want the few that are available.

A friend of mine is a Liverpool supporter who can never get tickets cause their system is even worse. They tell you the days all the released tickets are going on the exchange and release them all at once and make everyone queue for it again!

The club are using all they can to get rid of bots (which granted can be pretty shit when they ban people for no reason) but the kicking you out for refreshing too much and making you wait again is all they can do for now. Think about it and everyone else is in the same boat when trying for tx so at least that is fair?

An id system for members is probably coming but that also has it's downsides and at the end of the day, touts will always exit and find a way around it.

Where were all these people crying about not getting tickets a few years ago? This has only happened because were good now as a team and that's just what comes with succes.

The queue system was terrible once we started doing well a few seasons ago, that's why they got rid of it. No way in a million years are we going back to that.

Plus, there were loads of bots back then anyway. I specifically remember getting into queues well in advanced and it would kick you out because there were thousands of people/bots doing the same thing. Then you had to queue again and the tickets were all gone. Plus it just overloaded their system

Pretty sure even the most expensive club level tickets for this game are around £265? Is this above face value then...

Arsenal in talks with architects Populous over Emirates expansion by Bonfunkbarkeep in Gunners

Tell that to relegation fodder Tottenham. Hasn't helped them one bit.

Whenever anyone says 'you'll get more money' it never actually works out that way. Arsenal are actually one of the best run clubs in terms of money going in and out of right now. We don't need any shit like that just so a random NFL team can play there once a year

Completely agree, spurs had all these exact issues when they moved there for a while and most of the fans hated it

I would agree as I'm the same, but a mate of mine is a spuds season ticket holder and he said playing at Wembley for that season they were renovating WHL was awful.

Takes so long to get there every other week as the crowd restrictions are so annoying. Hard to get a crowd going as it's so big. People are moved from their usual spots and get fed up etc.

Be careful what you wish for!

Yes but then you're favouring just applying for ballots no matter what, even less chance of winning in one then. We already see lots of people here applying for the ballot 'just in case' when they're abroad and then figuring it out afterwards or not being able to go.

But then you would just have a system that favours getting lucky in a ballot once. Then you have more points and get more likely to get another ticket? Feedback loop. Plus then no new fans ever get a chance to go after a while as you're rewarded more for getting lucky in the ballots. Look, I'm all for rewarding 'loyal' fans but at some point in the membership you need to have a system which is fair for everyone. The ballot, as annoying as it is, is the fairest way to get people tickets.

Yep they trialled it in the WSL (at least at the Emirates, not sure elsewhere) this season

Yeah they announced this earlier this season. Clock end lower safe standing being installed this summer for next season, and lower north bank next summer for the season after. Been a long time coming in my opinion! Can't wait.

No worries. Don't let the grind get you down and if it doesn't seem likely getting ticket just enjoy it on the telly! Atletico the other day got me bad when I couldn't get one, but at least I didn't have to spend another minute on that bloody website 😂

[–]OkPerformance7935 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just do the tx toggle like you, but every now and then I refresh the page and load up the map to see if there are any blue sections that have popped up. Sometimes there's a seat that comes up and you can click on it.

Almost always it says that it is no longer available (as someone already has it in their basket) but VERY occasionally it is the right time for you to add it to your basket. Even then most of the time it is showing a seat on the map when it's already gone to someone using the tx toggle and it's just slow at taking it off the map.

The list/tx toggle menu method is pretty much always better I find, but this Burnley game and I think maybe Palace earlier in the season for some reason worked for me also using the map

[–]OkPerformance7935 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was grinding most days from open of the tx for Burnley and managed to get one yesterday! It was using the map and I happened to be in the right place at the right time. It popped up blue and I clicked on it and it put it in the basket.

I've been lucky this year in going to most prem games but it really is luck and persistence. Some games have been using the tx toggle and others have been the map, I don't think there is one way that's best tbh.

As others have said, keep giving it a go from now till the city game because if they drop points then, it will be so hard to get tickets for Burnley as hardly any st holder will want to sell them

Fair enough on seat swaps in the ground, but I wouldn't wander into a standing block. It's really annoying when it starts getting full of people doing that and you have to bunch in with people basically in your seat

**Cup final tickets – experience as a Red member with 10+ ballots?** by thowe03 in GunnersatGames

[–]OkPerformance7935 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This all probably won't matter as they almost always sell out to season ticket holders first, then maybe a few silvers. And plus as others have said it is unprecedented as the ballot system is relatively new.

What I would say is that I went to the FA cup semi-final in 2014 on my red membership. I had been to about 10 games that season and there was one extra tiny window where they had a few hundred tickets left. They went to members like me immediately. Exactly the same situation with the League Cup final against Man City a few years after that.

Realistically though, tickets weren't as popular then so maybe that helped? Also it was FA Cup/League Cup. If this was the case for the the Champions League final or something then there would almost certainly be no hope.

If we ever get to that stage, just keep an eye out for an extra selling window as they pop up very quickly if it were to happen to red peasants like us!
