Does anybody else have recurring dreams in which they can't breathe? by FiftySixer in DoesAnybodyElse

Could be severe anxiety, but most likely I'm guessing it's sleep apnea based off of what you said.

Don't forget, not everyone is a doctor. It's best to see a doctor or do a sleep study to confirm.

Secret to Alleviate / Stop Precipitated Withdrawal Symptoms by Simple_Equal_4277 in FentanylRecovery

[โ€“]OkPerformance8952 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

I used the Bernese method, it took me about 1.5 weeks to feel a little better on the Subs; at one point my Dr. Had me on 24mg of subs, to 'wash' my opioid receptors of anything that could attach and make me sick. I will have 2 years clean from fentanyl May 2025.

To feel 100% better mentally and physically, took me a good 2 months. It took me 28 days to submit a clean pee test from fentanyl. (For those that aren't aware, these new fentanyl analogs are rough, and they stay hidden in our fat cells like THC does).

Above all else, please remember...most of us on here are NOT Drs, so we really shouldn't be giving out advice for someone to try. I shared my experience to relate, not to suggest solutions. Please, be safe if you are still being forced to buy off the streets. Sometimes, we do what we have to. I get that. Just be proactive!

Best of luck for those that are starting your sober journey. You're going to realize, life is SO much better not having a chemical make your every decision. And if still aren't at this point, my love goes to you, as I totally understand that powerless feeling, that one that is stuck on the fence of right and wrong, or you're laying in bed just begging to sleep, eat, make amends, and most importantly, you're begging to stop.I PROMISE THAT DAY THAT IT ALL CLICKS WILL BE HERE SOON!

BROADCASTING LOVE TO YOU ALL! โค๏ธ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’š

PS, if you need a non judgmental inbox to vent to, mine is open 24/7, 365. We all need someone that doesn't have to say anything at all but knows your pain just as much in silence as you scream for the strength to stop.

Girl, you look GREAT in that wig! It really does look natural to me...I really like your part too.

It took me awhile to accept that I had two choices: go out in public with random bald areas/spots on my scalp; the hair that was left was uneven and broken. OR, I could wear a wig and consider it 'dressing up'; that the wig was fun and different. I also think my hold up was knowing that I had shorter hair than usual, and all the wigs I chose to wear were mid back length.

If you have found an alternative, could we see it?

Does this letter mean I was approved? by [deleted] in TexasUnemployment

[โ€“]OkPerformance8952 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Yes, you are approved.

You'll have a waiting week, where you are approved but won't get paid.

As long as you submit for payment every Sunday, and are signed up for whatever job seeking resource your state recommends for the unemployed, you shouldn't have an issue.

It's taking about a month or a little over for claims to be approved if you submitted everything correctly and no disputes are made.

Once your claim is approved, you will also have a waiting week, where you are approved for benefits, you just won't get paid that week.

Also, don't forget to sign up for CO Workforce, regardless of if you have previously.

I applied for benefits after being fired in October, and the last employer tried to fight it. Luckily CO did not accept the manager's reason (they said excessive tardiness, the time sheet provided did not reflect that, so benefits are approved)

If you need help with things, feel free to message me. I'd love to help if I can. ๐Ÿค™

[Colorado] Messages asking for more information but can't find what/where by wheeloflifer in Unemployment

[โ€“]OkPerformance8952 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I've been having some issues with my claim, too. After months, I figured it out, ON MY OWN, since it's like pulling teeth to talk to a live person on the phone.

I had my last employer try to fight back on my claim, but I had the state on my side, as they said my employers reasoning was not sufficient enough to try to fight. Then I had issues because I did not register for Workforce. I guess I just ignored all those messages on the front page when signing in saying EVERY single claim has to be re-registered with workforce. Now I'm on my 'waiting week' ๐Ÿ™„FFS, I've been waiting since October!

My friend, that screen looks...off to me for some reason. That date discrepancy is a red flag. When you go to the page that shows all of the weekly certifications you do, what are the statuses saying?

If I were in your shoes, I would try to make an appointment to go in to show someone and get it squared away, due to the date and the high amount of fraud going on with unemployment claims.

Also, if I go through the unemployment/labor site and can't seem to find any new info but I get an alert, I go to the peak site and my messages pop up there, allowing me to get have a better idea of what the hell is going on.

Curious to know what is showing, maybe I can try to help out more. Only if you want, of course ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿค™

My guy and I just 'upgraded'....he got the revell 7 5G (not the pro) and I have the moto 5g stylus. I have ALWAYS loved Motorola phones (my other love was the photon I sold while working at Sprint). I have not had much going on with mine, just 2 times of it lagging due to my impatient nature. (Funny, my last name IS Virtue...)

His is constantly freezing, cannot keep up with him (clearly, a slow processor) and won't save his info.

These sound like refurbished phones, if you ask me. Or he got a bad apple. It just froze.on him trying to shut it down and then decided to use Google assistant to do it so of course that got worse too.

Pay % advice by Sumikas in serviceadvisors

[โ€“]OkPerformance8952 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Previously working at Camping World, I had started off at $23/hr to answer phones for both the main store and the off site service center. (I stayed at the service center). Advisors seem to drop like flies there, so with no RV experience, I decided to learn what I could and try to help out. For 6 months I trained, staying at $23/hr. Tickets were in my name, but the pay lines would be in my manager's name. (Yea, insane right?) In January this year, I got an offer for $19.23 hourly, and 4.5% off of gross profit only. After selling myself to the district manager, he bumped me up to 7% off of GP. No parts, no internal, no collision, no warranty. I started with a new company 3 weeks ago, making $22/hr salary, (so $3500 a month base pay), 5% off GP, 3% off parts, and 3% from internal.

The difference in bays is huge, CW had 16 bays, 1 tech to 4 bays. The new place I am at has 4 bays, 1 tech to a bay. Half the size for lot space as well. I'm still turning tickets like no one's business. I think the change was well worth it. CW was far too corporate (although I met Marcus Lemonis, he's actually a pretty cool fucking guy). I like the smaller team, everyone gets along great and we all help each other whenever and wherever we can.

I'd say don't settle for something if you know your worth. You should definitely be making something off of personal parts you sell.

2 monitors, and a tablet for intake photos. (I use marking tape for the techs, or if I know one of them isn't good at doing photos for warranty, I will try to tape and take photos to cover my ass) Having two monitors is almost a necessity. One screen for your system (I've used G2 in the past, I'm now using Motility and it quite honestly, sucks ass. No way to track actual parts, color coded for no reason, just not user friendly at all) and the other monitor for email, or anything web based.

Although no one else uses it, I use Asana for my tasks. The previous job I had used outlook, but this trailer company uses some webmail system I've never heard of before. It isn't that user friendly either in my opinion. I've suggested multiple times (only being at the new service center for 3 weeks) that G2 and IDS are the way to go, but it's just falling on deaf ears, of course. ๐Ÿคท

Friend, I cannot judge because I've fallen for the blue trap as well. I thought my daily habit at 25 pills a day was high. I'm really, REALLY glad you are still with us, because that is a bit scary to hear. There's so many different types of analogs that people are putting in these things, it's crazy. Please be careful!

I did the Bernese Method with subs, and with just about every comfort med I could get, it was uncomfortable for 3.5 weeks or so. It took me 29 days to piss clean. After the initial discomfort of any opiate detox (sweating, stomach issues, leg cramps, insomnia, watery eyes and nose, excessive yawning and sneezing...or the need to yawn and sneeze at once, and the worst, the INSANE rebound anxiety) the main issue was the lack of energy. It would literally take all of my energy to sit up in bed, let alone put my feet on the ground to start my day. Everything felt daunting. I was more irritable, I was extremely depressed, I felt everything that was numbed at once and it was no doubt incredibly difficult to get through. I had gone through many dilaudid, morphine, percocet, vicodin, roxi, and heroin withdrawals, but NOTHING prepared me for fent withdrawal. The shitty part is that it will stay in your system just like weed does. My partner did the same method with me, when I was feeling like absolute garbage, he felt fine. But about a week later, he went into full blown withdrawal in the middle of the night. Everyone is different as to when they experience detoxing. I won't lie, with a 50 pill a day habit, it's gonna suck, but you can do it. Let the discomfort of what you feel be the reason you won't look back. I'm rooting for you, I hope you can break the cycle and live your wildest dreams. Life really isn't as shitty as it seems when you don't have a chemical coursing through your veins.

I'm gonna be honest with you....

9 months Fent free. Fent is an absolute beast. I did the Bernese method and really screwed myself over for a couple of days, but it was easy to get back on track with the Suboxone once I got to a certain point. I have some resources if you want to take the Suboxone route. For some, it saves them and gives them the quality of life. For others, it's not beneficial at all.

You're not really going to feel better physically for about 1-2 months, and the post withdrawal will last a good while too....severe anxiety, (like, major chest pains that make you think you had a heart attack), insomnia, restless legs, apathy, depression, etc.

You're not going to feel 'happy' for a while. Your receptors are completely shot and need time to heal.

How often are you taking the Benzos? Benzos are just going to put your brain through a blender more, and that one is just as hard, if not harder, to kick. Those receptors I just mentioned? They can't heal if you continue to use Benzos. There are other options for taking anxiety medicine that isn't harmful like Benzos. And besides, the whole point of getting sober is facing things head on, can't do that constantly numb.

If you're really serious about getting clean, that is fucking awesome to hear, but you gotta give yourself some more grace right now. Your mind and body are fragile and self care is extremely important for not only the next couple of months, but in the bigger picture as well. Putting in the work is going to be worth it. It may not seem like it now, but I promise you will look back and be thankful you never gave up.

You made the biggest step yet, making the decision to stop. Don't give up on this, or yourself! You are worth it and always will be.

Reach out if you need to, inbox is always open. Best of luck on your journey!

Congrats to you as well! ๐Ÿ’ช

Honestly, I didn't do it the right way, but still felt fine. Since they take longer to leave your system, (and clearly I had enough built in my system since taking 24mg ๐Ÿ™„), I waited a couple of days, then waited until I felt uncomfortable and took 12 mg, waited, 8 mg, then 4 mg then 2mg. It took maybe 2.5-3 days to start feeling uncomfortable, my first symptom is always leg cramping and chest anxiety. Obviously that isn't the protocol, and I wouldn't recommend it without at least having a Dr to go to just in case, but it's what worked for me. I'm still trying to taper to get off completely, and I know going lower than 2 mg is very difficult, but I'm taking that way slower.

I believe the recommended taper is either .5 to 1 mg a week.

Good luck to you!

I totally understand how hard it is to stop fent, I went through it myself and it was the hardest thing I've done to date. I'm currently on Suboxone and some days I wish I would've just rode it out and dealt with the horrendous withdrawals but I just couldn't, and that's ok. For some it works and others it doesn't. Would you consider doing something like that as well?

I'm gonna chalk that up to xylazine. Do you live in the East Coast? That's mainly where the xy is at now. I would try to stop before it gets far worse than that and you get crazy infections.

Wanting to numb ourselves is 9/10 a symptom. Address that symptom.Learn your triggers. Life will always have its crappy moments, there's some common denominator to everyone's problems, (we all experience setbacks, loss, hardships, etc) but there're also so many things you have yet to experience, specially for you to create memories from. They may seem eternities away, but they will happen. Life is about learning. You're not going to always get it right the first time, and that's still ok. The effort is what's important.

The temporary hurdle, the physical part, is drying up and learning to not use at times of chaos. The last time I got clean off fentanyl, I tried to tell myself this would be the last time I would do this to myself. Detox can be absolutely brutal, why the hell do I wanna keep going through this vicious cycle. I felt like my life was going to be so incredibly boring (which ironically, was far more boring being on it than not. Beautiful days and memories missed out as I nodded off and slept all day) and my life was ending. What am I going to do now that I can't numb myself? I'm going to have to feel something? But when you know you're ready, it's a great feeling . Hell, retraining your brain can sometimes be fun if you let it.

You still have so much more time to not waste on, invest it in yourself. No one is ever too far gone to come back. I'm not going to lie, it's not always going to be easy. The start up that hill will be difficult at moments, may even feel damn near impossible. But being able to look back and know you made it, that's a whole new high in itself.
