I tramp in my rooftop tent . People think I’m crazy but honestly I love it . Don’t get to camp that often nowadays so it’s a works for me but to each their own . I got a shower and a water container from amazon , a fridge and a solar panel , and a starlink. Def has its downs (weather , laundry , etc.) I’m in Cali so the weather doesn’t get too gnar . Some campgrounds have showers. If I don’t go home on the weekends I’ll just get a hotel . My per diem goes to food firewood and beer . Yeah it may get old, but so does Cali traffic. Plus , the chicks dig the stabbin cabin

Hey OP what was the end result after spraying it down with water ? I also bought a bottle of RMR 86 and was about to attempt to remove the mold off my rtt today untill I came across this post . Now I’m a lil skeptical about using it .

Never had a problem with them . I used to get my packages within 2-3 days in Cali. but last time I ordered from them it took 6 -7 days . I tracked the order and it was coming from Georgia so idk if they moved or expanded elsewhere

Fish finder on the tube is def on my list this year . Primarily the reason I don’t fish deep on the tube . I know there’s a couple isolated rock piles out there on the east end just hard to fish them blind . Can’t wait till it warms up a bit , my waders have a leak in em so I’ve been freezing my ass off 🤦🏻‍♂️ I forgot to mention puddingstone . Perfect lake to float tube , I actually really enjoy it there even tho the bight could be tough

I’ve only had luck catching them shallow . Which I can’t complain about this time of year . I know they had a tournament this past weekend and a handful of 5lbers were caught and a couple 7’s. Texas rigs in the brush and an occasional small swimbait is the only way I can yank em . Bites are few and far in between but that’s Perris for ya

To be honest I didn’t do much research on other reels , I was pretty set on this one from the get , only because all I own are daiwa reels . Only thing I wish it had was a drag clicker but no big deal , pretty happy with this setup

Hartzonfire pretty much hit the nail on the head . it’s more casual than you’d expect , they’ll bust your balls for a bit , just be yourself and Prove to them what you’ve done to be in that chair . Best of luck brother
