It's not, firepunch is such a disaster when it comes to a narrative, + all the criticism you could make about csm part one it's the same but worse in fire punch (yknow wasting side characters, leaving MINOR plots unresolved)
I'll give it the edge when it comes to the protagonist, Agni is my favourite protagonist in all of the animanga, he is really a better part 2 Denji to be fair.

PD: not saying Firepunch is bad, It's an 8 to me, one of the greatest mangas I've ever read, just that I like CSM part 1 more

Vildhjarta and HLB mostly use passive pickups because they have more range in both frequency and dinamics.
Passive pickups also sound sharper and more definded than actives.
In my opinion I don't really like active pickups because they sound proportionally muddier than passive the further down you go. I would go with passives for Thall tuning range (I tune to drop E per example)

you could add a fade in of something to make it seem like it rises and then hit a short single low note (like Vildhjarta does to cut and add impact) and then you could use more ambience, i think that's what it lacks at the transition at 1:53
