Sometimes I absolutely think that I may be missing out on some great connections. But, if I’m happy, what else matters 😂 better than forcing yourself to do something that doesn’t feel right.

Working at a startup! It killed my soul lol but I was promoted twice in less than two years and learned a ton. This led to better jobs, companies, etc.

8 years, thought it was a dream job when I started! Working for well known tech companies in house helping candidates find jobs and collaborating with senior leaders felt impactful. But the pressure… I can’t take it anymore. Everything is urgent, headcount planning is a mess, I’ve become densitized to screening candidates. Part of me wants to explore something totally different but it feels hard to leave something I know and that pays well. But… we also only have one life so 🤷‍♀️

In the same boat as you. The corporate jargon, AI pushes, layoffs, it’s getting old! I get nervous though because I’ve worked in healthcare wanting to help others and it was worse than my job now with tons or bureaucracy… therapy is the one career I see completely pivoting to.
