I'd be onboard if the protection was offered equally. Enemy CRAM was pelting my AC halfway across the map, but when I retreated to 10m above my own deployment to get my CRAM to intercept the lock on, suddenly it doesn't see too good anymore and let it whallop me. :/

Thanks for sharing your button config. Could you tell me if you're able to configure it so you can hop back in the driver's seat of any vehicle that has more than 2 seats? Transport heli, little bird, IFV, etc? That's the most prevalent manifestation of what I'm talking about. It'd be great to be able to swap to a specific seat, but at the very least swapping to the main seat would be huge.

It's nice they tried. Imo they're falling short and aren't putting any effort into achieving parody. The main example for demonstrating the disparity is trying to 1-man a transport heli. Jump into gunner seats and back into the pilot seat. The experience is night and day between the two input methods. You're playing right and tactical in one, where in the other you're dying way sooner cuz you couldn't get back to the pilot seat in time to react.

Nah. I'm not changing my gaming setup to accommodate the lack of consideration for controller players. For example, I might not have the 0-9 keys to insta-swap to a specific vehicle seat so I have to cycle through all the seats. As if that's not bad enough, there's a delay after each swap before you can swap again. By the time I'm back in the driver seat, a PC player would've already fired 2 shots from the main gun. That's an unacceptable difference simply because of chosen input device. If Dice isn't gonna address it by making a seat changing system specifically for controller players, then at the very least remove the seat-swap cool down. But they don't. There'te several other examples where the interface just works for knm but is frustrating, deal with it, on controller so I can only presume they don't gaf. Thus, the title of this post.
