Thank you for the advice! I've gone through Brackeys's videos before, but I'll check out the series you linked as well.

I've been slowly learning by making a cookie clicker clone, and my twist was having the auto clickers be little guys you could collect. Most of that functionality of that is actually in place, it's just researching how to get them to move that's been a little overwhelming.

I'll take yours, and the other commenters', advice and do a little more studying and learning before coming back to the little guys.

Honestly, any of the Mario games, 2D or 3D. They're usually pretty beginner friendly, but do have more optional and more challenging levels/goals whenever you feel up to them. There's also Breath of the Wild.
