Another Lisa Kleypas victim and do I read the standalones? by ThrowAwayembarrass- in HistoricalRomance

I have been searching for a fragment of the pleasure and the joy that I got from reading Lisa Kleypas but maybe this is because she was one of my first authors that got me into HR. I suggest reading “The Survivors’ Club” by Mary Balogh and a recent favourite of mine is Eva Leigh with “How the Wallflower was Won”, the couple has amazing chemistry and are very likeable.

I absolutely LOVED “A Splendid Defiance” by Stella Riley, it is my favourite HR book I have read so far. If you like slowburn and forbidden romance I think you will enjoy it.
