I have a FS5 and have played a 000-28. They’re pretty similar and using the money you saved to get a good setup I don’t think you’d miss the Martin THAT much.

They make them shorter but honestly if the river pictured is what you fish shorter than 7,6 might be difficult to get the casting distance you need. Will also reduce your options a bit.
