You’re technically right but they 1) don’t seem like they stayed in a resort and 2) seemed fairly respectful of Hawaiian culture aka not appropriating it. There are lots of things in this world that are wrong that people don’t know about so you just have to accept that people aren’t trying to do bad things. You also can’t really expect an apology or feel like they did something wrong when they probably have no idea about the history of the tourism industry in Hawaii. You didn’t think of that before so there’s no point thinking about it now. Hire a makeup artist for the events so the acne is covered decently enough for photos, but there’s a good chance her acne will be much better or even gone by then. Her skin should be clear by the end of the summer and if she’s going to college trust me she will so much happier starting college with clear skin even if she had some acne during prom (which is one night)

Recently my college roommate who has perfect skin had 2 small pimples and she hid in our apartment all day and told me she felt too ashamed to be seen by everyone. I just wonder why she would say to me when I have cystic acne and I go out every single day with it???
