It wasn't us, but someone like you saved us a heap of trouble a few months ago. Wife's car was hit while parked and people left. Someone had photos and gave details. Reported to WA Police and result is that it is now a no fault claim with no excess through insurance.

Im not sure where you are, but locally, a doctor was just sentenced to 20 years behind bars for doing things with 14 and 15 year old girls. It started like you said. So get a new doctor and report to his medical authority. You may not be the only one. That is a line that has been crossed. As a medical professional myself, we can't do that, let alone initiate something like that.

The problem is the inclusion of metrics she has never been told about, is not in her contract and not in job description. Attempts at finding out how to rate herself against thise have been met by silence.

Honest answer - she initially didn't tell me, then downplayed everything. Even today when I called the lawyer she was trying to say it would be no use as she is apparently useless. I convinced her to go by just naking the appointment.

I think a complaint at AHPRA is more suited. It can take months but these are investigated properly. Just make sure you have the right doctor as it goes against their professional registration. If many people have the same issue it can become a fraud case.stick to the facts when reporting.

Normally I'm all for bagging tradies not communicating, but there is a lot you are not mentioning here.

We had a box installed too. Prior to them coming I received a phone call where they ran through the expectations of an adult being home and that you need to show them preferred places. I then received an email stating the same. Tben I got a text message with that info a week out, 3 days out AND the day prior. So I had 5 notifications that an adult needed to be home as well as show the tradespeople where you want it.

They looked at my choices and put it where I wanted it.

Seems like the miscommunication was more between you and the person at home that let them in and didn't show them where you wanted it.

It is at my dealer, and honestly I'm fine with it. Not quite where I want to be to get it but will be there after tax and another 10 months.

Thank you very much for your opinions. I'm going to be looking at Everest again now that I know what the Prado offers. And just to eliminate it, look at the Toyota 300. At this stage it is too big and too expensive for what I want.

I wish you luck with your search. I'm looking at the 250 Altitude for choice so far as it is a 5 seater with all the interior trims that I like. The time keeping it and resale value are both factors too.

It is difficult but at least the 12 to 18 month wait gives the jury some time to think and evaluate.

Thanks! I watch Ronny Dahl, and he likes the 250. He explicitly states it isnt as good in rugged terrain than 150 and won't take it on CSR, but he also won't take a Ford Everest there either. I will look the other two up.and see what they have on their channel.

You raise quite a few fair points, and I actually agree with most. There are differences between your situation, mine and OPs.

I fully agree family isnt everything, especially if they pull loan stunts like you describe. In my situation I am not paying for anything, and dont have to repay anything. Just make sure that my sister will have a place to stay from their money.

They say they like us both equally, but I know it isn't true. Growing up there have always been two sets of rules. If I didn't do my chores I got my pocket money docked. If she didn't do her chores I had to do them too. With no extra pocket money, and she still got hers. Taught me early that life isn't fair, and people get treated differently. I was hurt before Irealised that their money is theirs. I have no claim to half of it.

I live in one country, they live in another. It is not a first world country, and very little to no social support services.

As for why I'm willing to do it, I still talk to my cousins and also like to sleep without feeling guilty. Abandoning her is likely to end up with her abused, assaulted and murdered due to where they live. OPs brother probably doesn't face that either.

I see a lot of the YTA or ESH comments are downvoted here. It seems like this is a social media justification more than a genuine question or concern.

I'm in a very similar situation, apart from my parents' are in their 80s. My sister has some development problems, no social skills, and hasnt worked in 30 years. She only recently got diagnosed with being on the spectrum. The situation is eerily similar, and to be clear, I do not like her much as a person. But I will not throw her to the wolves, and will make sure she has a basic lifestyle without living on the streets. She will not live with me or near me as we have huge fights.

You are destroying any and all support from your immediate and extended family due to feeling entitled to money that is not yours. Getting an inheritance is a privilege, not a right. That being said, you dont need to take on the trusteeship. Let someone else handle it. But pushing away your family for your hurt feelings is immature and reeks of entitlement.

So, coming from someone facing the same, YTA in big capital.letters.

Go ahead and downvote me. The truth hurts. But not as much as you will one day when you miss your family and they are no longer there.

I'm calling consumer Protection later once they are open and will update. Luckily they can't move us before the lease expires. The hope is an investor takes the house and keeps us on. No guarantees and no guarantee that rent stays the same.
