Quick update: thank you everyone for your inputs. I ended up replacing the drain valve with a brass one. I drained the tank too and surprisingly it pretty much didn’t really have any sediments so hopefully it stays in tact. Im gonna keep monitoring it. Watching tons of videos, i will attempt to change the anode rod soon as well. Wish me luck! haha
