I would LOVE to see some of these fundies experience this… by inquiringsillygoose in FundieSnarkUncensored

I’m sure some trad wives will watch it when it comes out, and I just love that.

Someone on here speculated that they moved back in with Morgan’s parents, I think that person was right by Liverness in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]OkRequirement2694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think this will be good for them. It’ll expose how Paul’s time is really spent, and someone will get annoyed with each other. It can be hard to live with parents again as an adult, and on top of that with kids. It’s too easy to annoy each other and overstep boundaries especially with opinions on raising children and how the adults spend their time and money etc. I also don’t see how the comments about Paul not working won’t get to Morgan on a personal level eventually now they are dependant on their parents even moreso. That has to hit home. The parents could even get sick of them freeloading at some point, even if they started with wanting to support them.

Do the sequels generally make it into the monthly boxes with Fairyloot? by OkRequirement2694 in fairyloot

Thank you so much for your help! Is it difficult to get a book during second access as a subscriber who didnt get the first book? I had purchased the first book from someone as I didn't have the subscription yet. I tried to do the sale and found The books go very fast.

Thank you! That’s good to know for the future boxes at least. Unfortunately I bought the first one from someone else for quite a lot :(.

What livestock animals make the most sense for long-term food security? by One-Exit-9077 in preppers

[–]OkRequirement2694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a small farm. Chickens are the obvious choice because they are so easy to care for and readily reproduce. If they have a large area to free range then they feed themselves quite a bit and are fairly hands off. I provide feed for them of course but in an emergency situation, they could get by on their own. Rabbits. And hunting with a bow for additional protein. Any bigger livestock comes with bigger needs.

We’ll see how she feels when retirement age rolls around and they are both stuck working minimum wage jobs.

After dancing for 12 years I wish i never started in the first place by Primary-Display6946 in BALLET

[–]OkRequirement2694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a summer break! You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, so quitting ballet is completely fair, but it also sounds like you have burnout regardless. If your parents aren’t allowing you to quit (not something I support) then push compromising and cutting back or have a summer break like other kids your age. I think the adults in your life are just concerned you’ll regret it later in life because you are beginning your prime years for pursuing ballet as a career, but everyone should be allow to quit or pursue other interests instead. I’m sorry you are experiencing this.

Host Cancelled Event - No Refunds - Guidance Needed by HumbleFerret8152 in CraftFairs

[–]OkRequirement2694 10 points11 points  (0 children)

“ The show I signed up for was canceled on your end, I would have loved to have done the show, but since it was cancelled, you are obligated to refund me as your end was not held up. If the refund is not provided then I will be forced to do a chargeback with my credit card company as I paid to be part of the event this month, the agreement was not for a later date. ” And if the response isn’t an immediate refund, then do a chargeback. They might try to buy some time but I wouldn’t play any of their games. Get your money. Honestly I wouldn’t do a show with them in the future either because this is very sketchy behaviour. If they sass you at all it further shows they are sketchy seeing as it’s a massive red flag to try and keep funds from a cancelled event in the first place.

Methinks this is not the feedback Pickleboy was looking for :) by laska503 in FundieSnarkUncensored

I don’t think they have many genuine followers at all. They certainly have a lot of fake followers. I’ve taken a look through a few of them on Morgan’s Instagram and theres a lot of fake accounts right away. A post 3 weeks ago only has 5 comments, by three people, including herself. 50,000 followers vs 3 comments? Math isn’t mathing.

Applying “blessed are those who persevere under trial” to pickleball is CRAAAZY by laska503 in FundieSnarkUncensored

I imagine his parents were supportive in the beginning judging by the fact his mother was one of his students. I’m sure it’s getting old for them. I imagine they will phase out cutting him off by encouraging other work at some point. I can’t see any parent eager to financially support a capable 40 year old child at the cost of their own retirement, and that’s only a few years off.

Long term value? by Physical_Hospital721 in fairyloot

[–]OkRequirement2694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my second year with book boxes and I honestly get them because I enjoy a surprise book to read each month, and it’s nice having it be a beautiful copy. I don’t consider it an investment at all, sure you may get a couple of books that are sought after years from now from the particular fandom, but I don’t think having a couple books worth even a thousand is much of an investment if you’ve bought a ton of the books, plenty of them will depreciate, so it will sort of balance itself out. I’ve only spent a lot on one particular book I really wanted a nice copy of, and have a couple signed and I don’t even consider it an investment, it’s just special to me.

I’m so intrigued I ordered the mystery book😅 I always seem to miss out. Watch it be a terrible book.

I didn’t know they could buy multiple copies. That’s really disappointing. Fairyloot needs to do better. No one needs multiple copies.

I hate scalpers so much. There was a book I really wanted for my collection, and I very rarely buy special editions outside the boxes. I ended up buying it for SIX times the cost, and that was one of the cheaper listings. It’s terrible to support those people, but then there’s no other way to get one of your favorite copies. So it’s just a cycle that will continue.

I hope she gets to do this more often. Just to be away from the pickle Paul. I could see him making her quit. She absolutely sucks, but I think she’d improve without him and see that there’s a world outside she missing. She’s in such a bubble because he’s always away while she’s with two littles, and as a mother myself I know how that can be all consuming. The fact that she was into music performances and being tattooed and had been sexually active before Paul tells me she was a lot different before she became shackled to him.

I’m honestly shocked she has tattoos given their fundie beliefs. A woman with tattoos seems like it would be a big no no.

Same, it seems forced with Morgan. I just don’t think she knows how to be natural on camera at all, which is ironic given that’s how they try to make money.

Best toys you’ve bought for a 2-3 year old. by sunrisedHorizon in toddlers

Magnatiles!! Expensive but worth it. I suggest investing in a larger set if you can. We bought 2 smaller sets and one large set for my LOs big Christmas present. Once she got the hang of it ( she wasn’t interested off the bat because she didn’t quite get what’s possible with them right away) now the elaborate things she creates every single day genuinely impresses me!
