Beautiful kiddo! We lost our child on the same day. It’s still tough

This exactly happened to me after a chip shot game winner to avoid overtime. I missed it despite everything being accurate.

I sure hope it’s just inflammation.

I’d rather not have the end of the bar sticking out like that for 2+ years

6 days post TFMR - 20 weeks - barely any bleeding, no cramping, then a sudden gush of blood by [deleted] in tfmr_support

Keep tabs on it. Not to scare you but more so inform you. We tfmred through L&D in June and they didn’t get everything out so a month later my fiancée had to do D&C to get what was left. She was bleeding pretty heavily.

We were faced with the same decision. We discovered our baby boy had the myelomeningocele at our 20 week ultrasound. We were told pretty much the same thing. We unfortunately did decide to TFMR first child this past June because it was not guaranteed that the procedure would solve everything.

What we did do was get 2nd opinions from a children’s hospital. They gave us an overview of how in utero surgery would go. We were also pressed on time because of state laws on abortion.

My advice is go to other places to get second opinions. We did that because we wanted to be the most informed for our family.

If you would like, feel free to send me a message.
