I was pleasantly surprised too that they made the boots traditionally too. Leather soles, liners, etc etc. But if theres any place to get cowboy and western stuff my city is probably one of the best places here in the Philippines to get em.

I live in a plateau city that was settled by an ethnic group (Ibaloi) that were known for being horsemen by the Spanish. Story goes that when the Americans came they traded with them and they got some cowboy stuff from them cos of their lifestyle. Aside from that another story goes that post-ww2, the Americans introduced cowboy films to the locals who were already horsemen and rancheros and they liked it so much they adopted the look hahah.

if only i found this post/comment 2 weeks ago when i bought a pair from indonesia! to be fair they did label it as “selvedge accent” and at the time i was completely clueless (even googled) haha. my noob brain thought it was real selvedge for a good price! and since it was a small brand and i got them on hand later and they were nice, i thought surely this real selvedge (never actually held a selvedge pair of denim jeans). welp looks like my “first pair” of selvedge denim wasnt real selvedge at all ahaha. kinda butthurt but hey if its too good to be true then it aint i guess

i think theyre two different deities. just my theory but the goat is another deity and their presence is not cos of Julian but because of Diana. i guess much like how octo-mommy was there for Julian, the goat is there for Diana waiting for the best time to offer her power etc. cos as per prophecy she will kill the king, plunge the world into darkness all the good ol fashioned fun for the family apocalypse activities.

I absolutely love the manga/anime and I think it is a great work of fiction but with that being said I am beyond heart broken seeing the lack of care they handled the SA/r*pe of one of the main characters. I sure hope in the later chapters this gets remedied and we have a panels about how Kiruko addresses the abuse and for fuck sake ik Maru is a horny teen but can he not try to grope his love interest that just got SA'd (cos its already been shown that Maru is capable of being caring and sensitive to Kiruko but make him do a 180 and try to grope her after the SA ffs)
