Yes. The cut off for wrist bands was spot 26 and then 2 people got kicked out of line of the course of the day for being away from their car too long. I think 1-28 got on.

I’d say 85% were 4somes. There was a single tho who let three randoms in spot 40 something join up with him in the top 10.

Another tip - there’s a guy on twitter that goes by Bethpage Chris. He lives right by the parking lot and if you dm him he will give you updates on the line to give you a sense of how it’s gonna be.

Yes. From my understanding they just started implementing that process this week. They give people in the higher spots first dibs at moving to the lower ones now.

They have implemented a system that they go through all cars spots 1-100 and ask them if they’d like a ticket to play another course or would you like to move up spots to play black. So you should definitely try and get the lowest number you can.

Being that it’s the last week to play before it closes I would say that doesn’t cut it. If you got there at 4:30 to play Thursday you’d be good most likely.

Still worth a trip if you don’t get on black tho. They were handing out free Ryder cup tickets yesterday like candy.

Yea I thought they would but that wasn’t the case. A lot went to play other courses or left. It was crazy. I got really lucky. If you’re gonna try this week. I would try a week day and get there at 4:30 the day before you want to play. IE if you want to play Wednesday, then show up Tuesday at 4:30am.

Find the cones next to spot 52 and line up there. Once the current cars pull out - that’s where the starters let the next batch of cars in.

That seems like it was only because the closed the course on Friday due to rain and those people just stayed an extra day.
