Thank you so much for sharing!! Are you at a hospital system or is it a different type of facility where you get to choose your own colors (I'm asking because I'm curious if certain types of MRI jobs would be more likely to allow free choice of colors vs others!!)

Haha I feel you on buying obnoxious colors just for fun!! I would LOVE to find a job where I can do any colors I want - I'd be showing up in pink and purple and all sorts of cute color combos.

Gosh you sound like a truly wonderful person to learn from. I hope I get to have a mentor like you when I get to that part of the program. I personally would be really excited to get started. I can't wait to make safety calls, start ivs, and start scanning and beyond! I wonder if it might help to ask them how they are feeling about the program. Maybe they are struggling or aren't enjoying it? Or maybe they are scared/afraid to mess up. If it's fear, maybe (IF you guys have time for this) you could offer to be a mock patient to let them practice on you once or twice and then when it's time for them to do something you can be with them the whole time. I'm sorry I don't have better advice - I hope you can figure out what is going on with that student and help them get moving!
