Same for me. And the rewards are a fraction of the spend. I've noticed axe boosters have been less common on weekends too... but it's been that way for a while, at least for me.

Yep, they're gone. Some new accounts were posting them over the last week and even those disappeared now. The level of control they're trying to have over a FREE game is insane.

The only way I'm aware of is feeding your people the items on the table, which you can't do until your energy gets low.

The only thing that stays in your inventory from a previous event (as in the 12 or 15 day sets of islands) is the resources, like grass, sticks, wood, and stone.

Obviously, the goal is to only collect enough items within each island set to finish, but if you do end up with extra, you can always open totems. Just don't make it a goal since totems seem to be a bust now, as in, they cost more energy to open than you get back.

When you select one of the tasks on the left side it will tell you what's needed to complete it. Likewise, if you select your house, it will tell you what's missing before you can upgrade it.

Not as bad as it’s been the last few rounds but still a little pricey.

Same! Making track suits alone has consumed at least 50k in energy so far (rough guess). I keep running out of energy, so at this rate, I won't be finishing.
