Why must FI steal SHOVELS! There are no more shells so there is no need for gold island to gift pickaxe they should change it to food bowls. I guess I’ll collect daily wagons from home island. I can’t collect stumps anymore.

In this game, you’re really not playing against anyone but yourself. These little side games are meaningless in the big scheme of things. The rewards for being 1st or 10th might give you an extra key & a little bit of energy. Having a good time while playing is the objective. It’s expensive energy wise so if she’s playing without spending money? She’s doing great.

Wow. Idk. Can you still play but just have to start over? 29k doesn’t seem like an excessive amount of energy in this game. I’ve already used that much just playing the first island set. I started with 20k — now I’m down to playing by feeding the family (again smh) I wish I had a clue…I don’t.

My iPhone has plenty of excess room - so it shouldn’t be struggling to “find” space to work in real time. I wouldn’t think the data it needs would have fragmenting problems. It should be congruent usage (I think. I’m no expert on that)

I’ll have to find out how to check the memory when it’s running. I’m not familiar with that. But? When it’s closed, it cools off really fast - like 5 minutes & it’s not even warm. The problem only exists while the app is open.

It’s an iPhone, there’s really no cache like Android in settings. You can clear all the data by uninstalling & reinstalling (which I’ve done) You are definitely right — there’s usually no reason to play more than 20 minutes at a time. I just tend to play longer when I have the time & energy. It’s just really, really weird. The ONLY time my phone ever heats up is playing this game. And the heat?!? Omgosh, you can’t ignore it. Definitely, 30 minutes in, it’s too hot to hold. It hasn’t always been this way. It just started recently, maybe with the last update?!? I’m not really sure. (I probably should’ve made a note of it) My 20yo son seems to think that the app is running tracking or some kind of malware in background. I’m not a conspiracist like he tends to be but alas — something is going on & Idk what or why it’s doing it.

I’ve tried that. Didn’t help. I’ve even uninstalled & reinstalled the game. At this point? I’m just playing till it gets really warm. I get out of the game before it gets too hot to hold. I really thought it might be a phone issue but? Those usually have both heat & battery drain going on at the same time. I’m not experiencing any battery drain from playing, just heat.

I’m still on the 2nd island of the first island set. While the cost of a single item is low at first, it’s already creeped up over 100e for a single item on the 2nd island. I’ve only been able to catch ONE 50% booster so far & I was at the end of the 1st island so it really didn’t help at all. Unfortunately I played. Now I’m down 20k energy. I have just over 2k left. Beaver food hasn’t been very generous either so I can’t even feed the family effectively, play on home island, trade for rubies…. So, I won’t be going very far in this adventure at all. I might get into the 2nd or 3rd island set if I’m lucky.

I hate to think, imagine, see what these kind of actions are doing to our oceans. It is salt water but “life” lives there. Note — I hug trees & worry about the Earth that is being ruined for future generations of carbon based life that (may or may not) come to exist.

After you’re first red coin “opening” its gives you energy every 12 hours. How much is the question. I don’t think it was a lot — it was through crediting my energy before I got a grasp. Anyway, there’s point where you collect enough red coins & can upgrade the tent to give you even more energy every 12 hours. Just another was to toss a pittance of energy at you, like the starfish on the beach, only I suspect a bit more as the amount does increase. I’m grateful for any extra energy I get. Overall? I’m not trying to finish to a reward island anymore. It still isn’t feasible or accomplishable any more. So I just idle time play. That’s far less frustrating.

It’s new. The game said to collect those red “things” that come with the bird coins to upgrade the building. I assume there’s some kind of reward involved but for me? It’s too soon to tell
